WARRIOR'S SURRENDER by Marisa Chenery

WARRIOR'S SURRENDER by Marisa Chenery

Book Three in the Warrior Hunger Series

Jaxon never wanted to tie himself down to a single woman, not even when he was mortal. When a sexy temptress collides with him on the street, dumping her coffee all over his chest, he sees the opportunity for another installment of his modus operandi - seduce, bed and then leave. But this fiery woman sees through his attempts and refuses to be just another notch on his bedpost.

Chyna is prepared to walk away when it becomes clear Jaxon plans to hit it and leave. She has a plan of her own and knows seduction is a two-way street. Once she gets him in bed, he won’t want to leave. But she gets more than she bargained for when her lover shows his other, furry side and reveals his true nature - as a shifter and warrior to an ancient Egyptian god. She must then decide if she is brave enough to stay...or if she will be the one to walk away.

Chapter One

Jaxon strolled down the street with no real destination in mind. Even though he’d hunted his prey for most of the night before, he’d taken to the streets of San Diego the following day, midafternoon. Not to hunt. He was just restless. The thought of sitting at home, waiting for the sun to set once again so he could seek out evildoers, as was his job as one of Anubis’ warriors, wasn’t something Jaxon wanted to do. Thus, he was out wandering.

French by birth, he’d been alive since 1772. He’d taken his vow to serve Anubis in 1798 when he’d been a soldier with Napoleon’s army. They’d been in Egypt to take the first step against British India to drive the British out of the French Revolutionary War. Taking part in the last battle where the British had defeated the French, Jaxon had almost lost his life, had been pretty near death. He’d been wounded during a naval attack by Nelson in the Aboukir Bay, just off the coast of Egypt. Jaxon had been on the French ship Orient. Wounded by British cannon shot, he’d managed to escape the burning ship before it exploded. Barely reaching the shore, Jaxon had called out to any Egyptian god to save him, and Anubis had been the one to answer.

Now he lived in San Diego. For the most part, he was content with his new life. Every once in a while he’d get restless, but he always managed to get over it. He’d grown accustomed to being alone. And he didn’t miss the fact there wasn’t a woman at his side to share his life. Even as a mortal he hadn’t wanted a wife.

He turned a corner, which took him to the front of a coffee shop. Jaxon grunted, then sucked in a sharp breath as a woman talking on her cell phone, who had come out of the building, crashed into him, spilling her hot coffee on the front of his shirt. Ignoring the stinging burn on his chest, he grabbed her by her arms to right her.

She pulled her cell away from her ear and gave him a look of horror. “Oh my god. I’m so sorry. Are you okay? Were you scalded by the coffee?”

Luckily for him, being immortal meant whatever burn he received had healed in a matter of seconds. The only damage done was to his shirt, which had a big stain across the chest.

“I’m fine,” he said. “No harm done.”

The woman said a few words into her phone before she ended the call and put it inside her purse. “Look what I did to your shirt. Here, hold this.”

She passed him her cup of coffee before she dabbed at the front of his t-shirt with one of the paper napkins she held. Obviously not satisfied with that, she pushed another up under his shirt and dabbed it from the inside as well as the outside.

Jaxon’s cock stirred as the backs of her fingers rubbed against his chest. While she was busy trying to clean him up, he took the time to get a really good look at her. She was pretty with the kind of looks that drew him to a woman. Her long, brown hair fell over her shoulders, looking soft to the touch. He had the sudden urge to sink his fingers in the silken mass and take her mouth with his until she moaned. His dick liked that idea because it went rock hard two heartbeats later.

She must have noticed the state he was in. Her movements stilled just before her brown-eyed gaze lifted to his. Her breath seemed to catch as she stared at his mouth. A pale shade of pink appeared on her cheeks. She pulled her hands away.

“Ah, I’m really sorry,” she said. “Let me make it up to you. I’ll buy you a drink this evening. And I’m Chyna, by the way.”

Jaxon ran his gaze down her body, liking what he saw outlined by her blouse and fitted skirt. The high heels she wore made her legs look long and toned. He wouldn’t mind getting her into bed for a night, having them wrapped around his waist as he pounded into her. He could afford to take the night off from hunting. With the crime rate in San Diego low, there weren’t as many evildoers around as there had been when he first moved to the city over ten years ago.

He nodded. “A drink would be nice. I’m Jaxon.”

She smiled. “Great. Meet me at the Waterfront Bar, say around seven? Do you know where it is?”

“Yes. And seven sounds fine.”

“I’d stay and talk but I’m in the middle of my lunch break and I have to get back to the office. So I’ll see you later this evening.”

After taking her coffee back, Chyna gave him one last smile, then walked away. Jaxon turned to watch her, his gaze landing on her bottom. The restlessness he’d felt earlier had magically disappeared with the prospect of meeting up with Chyna again, and the chance of getting to know her a whole lot better while he had her in his bed.

FINDERS, KEEPERS by Michelle Levigne

FINDERS, KEEPERS by Michelle Levigne

The Hunt Book 4 - The Hunt: Refugees from a despot who has overrun their world, a group of children are sent to Earth through a rip in time and space ... and are separated by time. They must first find each other before they can go home and save their world.

Iris Davenport hated the memories that came with world-shaking thunderstorms -- because she didn't want to remember she was a member of the Hunt. She was perfectly happy with her adopted parents, helping run the lodge on Smokeytop Mountain, exploring the mountainside, and doing search-and-rescue. The last thing she wanted was to face one of the Hunt and be reminded of the vows her parents had made when they gave her to the guardianship of the Hounds of Hamin.

But when a plane taking a sick boy to a a life-saving operation crash-landed on Smokeytop in a thunderstorm, Iris had to help. Even when one of the searchers turned out to be a member of the Hunt, who reminded her of everything she hoped to forget. She had her own life now -- a home, friends, parents, and a boyfriend. None of which she was willing to give up for a world she barely remembered.

Until the past caught up with them in the form of a traitor to the Hunt, and pieces of an old puzzle that could get her and her boyfriend killed if they didn't find all the clues in time.

The recent storms wreathing the slopes of Smokeytop Mountain had been rumbling
overhead for nearly a week in the wettest, stormiest April in the memory of the town
of Cameron. That Friday night, a dam break temporarily stranded Nate Wilson and
the rest of the leadership of the hiking club with Iris Davenport and her parents at
their lodge. Iris tried to make the best of the situation. Her boyfriend housebound in
her home for the foreseeable future--not so bad. However, adding in three friends
and her parents in the house turned the situation both reassuring and frustrating.

After all, Nate had managed to steal a grand total of five kisses so far in the three
months they had been dating. It was high time he raised those numbers. At least, Iris
thought so.

If only those thunderstorms didn't keep rolling across the top of the mountain as if
someone high above the clouds was trying to flatten it. Or maybe just the occupants
of Davenport Lodge.

"Hey, you keep rubbing like that, you won't have any hair left on your arms," Cody
Hawkins said.

Iris turned from her spot in front of the huge panorama windows looking out over
the valley and opened her mouth to retort. Nate beat her to it.

"Yeah, you try feeling like somebody attached sparking wires all over your arms,"
he snarled, his lip curled in anger, but teasing laughter in his eyes.

Iris flinched. That was exactly how she felt, but most of the sensation was focused
on the scars ringing her wrists. She wondered what her high school friends would do
if they could see the blue sparks dancing over the white, jagged lines in her flesh. Not
that any of them could see the sparks, even if she wanted them to see.

Which she didn't. She saw few benefits in being a member of the Hunt, and the
awful sensation that maybe someone was arriving in that storm was definitely not
one of them. More like the last thing she wanted to happen--whether it was now, or
fifty years in the future.

"Now is not a good time," she whispered, and turned to stare out the window
again.

Could anyone else see the electric blue streaks in the sky, like visible echoes or
negative images of the lightning flashes?

"Let's try to get as much work done as we can," Pandora Tuttle said. "Then we
won't have to have any more meetings until May."

"Sorry." Iris mentally pushed herself away from her post at the window and tried
to stroll casually across the greatroom to the couches gathered around the fire pit.
"Not such a great idea to meet out here after all, huh?"

"Sounded like the perfect place to me," Cody offered. "I mean, half our hikes start
right here. And with your folks offering to host whatever we plan to do..."

He shrugged and gave her that adorable, floppy puppy grin that had made her feel
welcome on her first day of school nine years ago, after the Davenports decided to
foster her. Sometimes Iris wondered what her life would be like if Cody hadn't taken
her under his wing from the moment she crossed the threshold of the school, with
only a minimal grasp of the English language. Would she have been so eager to stay
with the Davenports? It never occurred to her to that it might not be smart to stay on
the mountainside where the Hound had left her ten years ago, until she was in high
school and started to have dreams about the Hunt coming to take her away from her
home and parents.

The dichotomy that filled her life for the last two years made her feel as if she
were two people. She loved the mountain where her parents ran a lodge that serviced
hikers and camping groups. It wasn't just her gift for land and water, the sense of the
life energies flowing through stone and soil and trees. This was her home, the place
she wanted to stay for the rest of her life. Yet the dreams, the realization that
eventually the Hunt would call her away, made her hate the mountain. Not because
staying here made her easy to find. Because the mountain--and now the blue-tinged
storms ringing it--reminded her of the terror that had thrown her from her
homeworld, through the vortex of time and space. It frustrated her. It wasn't fair.

When she didn't remember, when she didn't have nightmares about the journey,
when her scars didn't prickle and sting and burn, she loved the mountainside, she
loved her adopted parents, she loved everything about her life.

Especially since Nate came to Cameron with his foster family, the Hancocks. Life
had been just about perfect, from the moment Cody reached out to the new kid who
showed up halfway through their sophomore year of high school. Iris had been friends
with Nate from the start because Cody made Nate his friend, and she and Cody had
been inseparable since her first day of school, like brother and sister.

Excerpt From: My Spartan Hellion

Athens, 165 BC

Bones shattered beneath her blade, the warm ooze of blood coating her hand as she twisted her wrist and plunged deep. The man fell clutching his chest, the bright glow of life fading from his eyes like waves retreating from the golden sands of the Aegean.

Lamia did not spare the fallen soldier her pity, or a measure of remorse. The steely glint of determination hardened her gaze and she whipped around, her sword slicing through the air, a deadly warning to the remaining Athenian soldiers to hold their ground. Three of their men lay dead, and those who still lived hesitated on the other end of her blade, their fear wafting so strongly through the air she could taste its bitter flavour upon her tongue.

A dull hum echoed in the distance, the tiny reverberations whispering through her, even as every muscle grew rigid with the sound. Her pounding heartbeat matched the even thud, as steady as the faint clip—clap of horses' hooves, the subtle quiver stirring the dirt beneath her bloodied feet.

The trembling of the earth grew, while a chilling silence descended upon the agora of Athens, which only moments before had bustled with a cacophony of clashing voices and the din of music.

Her gaze remained riveted on the Athenian soldiers who took several tentative steps backwards. They were retreating, the fear in their eyes heightening her own, and her blood turned cold as if ice water now raced through her veins.

Squinting against the bright glare of the sunlight, she scanned the golden horizon, curling her hand tighter around her sword when she caught her first glimpse of the blurry figures in the distance.

A curse trembled in her throat but she clamped her lips tight.

More soldiers—at least a dozen.

Nausea clawed its way into her belly, insistent and violent, forcing her to battle against the bone-chilling fear that wove its way through her body. She could never hope to defeat a dozen men, but neither would she simply lie down and await defeat.

She had survived this long...

A cloud of dust rose like a pre—dawn fog around the advancing soldiers, their sandalled feet stirring up the arid dirt with every step they took towards the public square. These were not Athenian soldiers. Their movements were too efficient, the even staccato of their marching feet far too precise.

Her lids shadowed narrowed eyes as the soldiers drew nearer. Their bronze armour shimmered beneath the rays of the mid—dawn sun, the reflective glare illuminating the flag that bore their distinct crest. Spartans. Her heart beat wildly as if trying to escape from her chest, the dull throb of fear coiling inside her once again.

They had sent Spartans to kill her and she would have laughed had her situation not been so dire, her fate so clearly sealed. She was nothing but a simple swordsmith of the Meshwesh. Yet Attalus had sent soldiers of the finest army the world had ever seen to dispatch her. That he thought she was a dangerous threat to be quickly and efficiently eliminated was clear.

The Spartan soldiers marched forward until they were no more than five body lengths away.
Corinthian—style helmets obscured their faces, the ominous masks of sturdy iron revealing only their eyes—all focused, full of determination, and centred solely on her.

A lone soldier stepped away from the phalanx, and, even though he wore the crimson horse hair crest atop his helmet that proclaimed him as their leader, she would have known he was the one who commanded them by his long strides and the confidence of his gait. His powerful build drew riveted gazes, and authority clung to him, surrounded him, emanated from him, as if he owned the entire world.

"Put down your sword," he demanded when he stopped before her, the deep timbre of his voice resonating with unyielding strength. The arrogance of his tone told her he was used to having his commands instantly obeyed.

This dawn he would be disappointed.

She tightened her grip around the hilt of the sword, her bruised knuckles red and chafing beneath the harsh sun. Holding his gaze, she stubbornly shook her head.

"We do not wish to harm you. Simply put down your sword."

She did not trust his assurance that no harm would come to her. After all, Atallus had sent him. She twisted her head from side to side with another defiant shake.

With a certainty, she knew she was going to die, and had she been alone she would have cried at the injustice of it all. She'd done nothing to deserve death, while the one whose hands were forever stained red with blood would probably draw breath for many annos. She blinked at the tears that burned in her eyes as her breath came out in ragged pants, dragging through her lungs. She refused to cry, for she was not afraid to die...not if that was her fate...

The one who'd spoken, the one she'd decided was their leader, turned towards his men then and nodded. His silent command was enough—the phalanx retreated, leaving him standing there before her...alone.

Beneath her breast, her heart did a quick flutter then thundered, sending blood rushing furiously through her veins, filling her with equal measures of dread and determination as she waited.
He faced her again, his clear blue eyes intense as he unsheathed his sword and approached slowly, hovering just beyond her striking range. Gripping her weapon, she began to circle, her wary gaze darting back and forth as she tried to focus both on him and on the men standing behind him. She did not trust them not to attack if she should wound him.

Circling like two caged tigers, they regarded each other warily, watching, waiting for the other to attack.

"Drop your sword!" he shouted again.

"If you are going to kill me, then so be it. I refuse to go back to Attalus."

His gaze flickered and he stilled. "I will not send you back to him. You have my word."

She studied him with narrowed eyes, searching for just the tiniest kernel of deceit shadowed upon his face. He was trying to trick her. As soon as she relinquished her weapon he would strike and she would be dragged back to Atallus where he would beat her, rape her, do whatever else his perverted mind could conjure.

"I do not believe you."

"I speak the truth. You need only to put down your sword."

She wanted to believe him, trust his word that he spoke the truth, but she trusted no one. Lamia shook her head. "No."

Most of Hugo’s attention remained on Aislinn. Her expressions flitted across her face, happiness, concern when Harvey talked about how he’d nearly lost his love to the evil—Jenny laughed at that, holding her husband’s hand tight—Sam and his “underhanded tactics.” Before he knew it, dinner, whatever it had been, had come and gone and their waiter was placing dessert before them.

“Warm apple crisp, with vanilla whipped cream.” The waiter stepped back. “From our own orchard.” Hugo frowned, but lifted his spoon. Why was the man hovering?

Aislinn, however, dug right in. “Oh, it’s just delicious! You know, my cottage is right in the middle of the orchard. It’s like a fairy tale…I didn’t know apple trees bloomed and fruited at the same time.”

So, this beautiful and intriguing woman was his neighbor—his sole neighbor—in his hilltop retreat. Interesting.

The waiter was going on about the apples. “Oh, a very special variety, miss. Grows only here on the island.”

“Well, it’s lovely.” She spooned up more of the crisp then sighed and set the implement next to her bowl. “But I don’t think I can eat another bite.”

Hugo ate some of the dessert. Good, but he rarely indulged. His focus was still on Aislinn and his medical side became alarmed as she suddenly paled. “Are you all right?”

She drew a deep breath and stood up from the table. “Oh, I’m fine. A little tired, maybe.” Her thready voice worried him.

“Perhaps we should see if a doctor or nurse….”

“No doctors. Never again.” Her vehemence added strength to her tone and sent an unhappy flip to his stomach. “I-I think I’ll be heading back to my cottage now. It’s been a pleasure having dinner with all of you. I’ll see you tomorrow, I’m sure.”

She took a few steps away and he rose, intending to join her, but a dark, graceful woman arrived at her side and led her over to a table where four people sat. They nodded in welcome and chatted for a few moments before one of them reached into a pocket and pulled out a vial. She tapped it, speaking with a serious expression before handing it to Aislinn. Rising, she gave her a quick hug then returned to her seat.

Aislinn left the room with the dark-haired woman’s arm around her waist. She must be very ill. But what had doctors done to make her reject their care and turn to quackery?

And what the hell was in that vial?

MAIL-ORDER BRIDE by Tianna Xander

When Dana answers a plea for a mail-order-bride, hoping to escape her uncle’s clutches, she boards a train bound for the Dakota Territory. Accepting the marriage proposal of a man she’s never met seems infinitely better than living the rest of her life in her uncle’s house of ill repute.

What was this she submitted herself to? This bliss, this ever-building crescendo within her was strange and wonderful all at the same time. Wrapping her arms around their heads, Dana did the only thing she could think of and held them to her as they took her to heaven and back again.
Why didn’t the girls at Agatha’s tell her about this…this all-consuming need she felt when they caressed her? Was it something she experienced because her men weren’t of her world? Did they know something the men on Earth did not?
Tarin caught her when her knees buckled, and he carried her to one of the thick mattresses on the floor, Lorcan following behind them.
Dana wasn’t prepared for this. She didn’t know how to tell them that this was too much for her. The pleasure, the decadence of what they did, carried her to the edge of some precipice she had no idea how to keep from toppling over. She sensed that soon, very soon, something would drive her close to that edge and she would fall. Her question was, would she survive?
“Did we ever tell you how beautiful you are?” Tarin asked as he moved up her body to press his lips gently against hers. Finally, he kissed her. She was beginning to wonder if they kissed on their planet, and she had wanted to know what it felt like.
It felt…heavenly. Dana sighed into his mouth, and he took the opportunity to thrust his tongue between her lips. Her eyes flew open with surprise. No one ever told her about that! With a slight smile, she wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. No matter. She liked it. He palmed the back of her head, his fingers sifting through her wet hair as he kissed his way across her collarbone to the side of her neck.
Dana panted with need. Her lungs labored to draw breath as their mouths made a leisurely journey over her quivering flesh.
Lorcan moved to breathe into her ear. “You are the most beautiful woman we have ever seen.”
Dana gasped as he thrust his tongue into her ear then suckled the lobe. Whatever came of this night, of this bargain that she had made with these two men she’d just met, felt right. It felt as though she’d known them forever. Whatever happened, tonight was hers and she refused to regret it.
“Open your eyes, love.” Tarin breathed the words against her skin. “We want you to see us, to look at us, to know that we are your mates and that we will never harm you. In fact, we both would die for you.”
Smiling, Dana reached up to cup their cheeks, her thumbs feathering over their bottom lips. “I hope it never comes to that. I think I’m going to like being your wife.”
“We can only hope so, baby,” Tarin said before he lowered his head to her breast once again. Slowly, he moved his hand down over her stomach. Dana sucked in her breath as his hand skimmed over the sensitive skin, moving lower still to the curls at the apex of her thighs.
She gasped when his fingers dipped lower into her sex, his experienced fingers circling her clit. With a groan, Dana instinctively spread her legs, allowing him easier access to her sex.
It wasn’t until Lorcan moved from her side to crawl up between her legs that she had any worry at all. With no warning, Lorcan settled himself between her thighs, threw her legs over his shoulders, and lowered his head to her already sensitive flesh.
Dana screamed when his mouth made contact with her sex, his tongue laving the hard nub between her legs. He lapped at her like some great cat licking cream from a saucer. A great pleasure-pain built within her as he continued to take her to the edge, repeatedly teasing her with the promise of release before slowly bringing her back down.
Tarin continued to alternately kiss her and suckle her nipples as his friend continued to ruthlessly bring her to near orgasm again and again until she was ready to scream out her frustration.
Finally, when she was ready to beg for release, Lorcan raised his head and looked deep into her eyes. “Come for me, Dana,” he said just before he lowered his head, his lips circling her clit. He pulled it ruthlessly into his mouth, suckling hard as Tarin’s mouth tugged at her breast. It gave her exactly what she needed to finally reach the summit, and Dana dove headfirst into the dark abyss that awaited her.
A scream bubbled from her throat as the world burst into a million tiny shards of light. Her body arched up off the bed, pressing her breasts tighter against Tarin’s warm mouth. She screamed again when he bit gently down on her sensitized nipple, as he reached across her and tugged on the other hard nub.
For a moment, Dana lay on the bed, quivering with aftershocks while her men kissed their way back up her body. What was next?

SEA BRIDE by LaVerne Thompson

Children of the Waves

For two hundred some years Xavior, a child of the waves, has searched the seven depths for his bride only to find her on land. How could a landwalker be his Queen, the one destined to stop the wars among the sea tribes? But one touch and he knew he’d defy Poseidon himself to make her his.

Cori Daniels hated the water; she’d been on board the luxury ocean liner for two days and hadn’t left her cabin. But when she finally ventured on deck, she met a man who looked like a sea god and tempted her like no other. Could he tempt her to follow him into the depths of the sea?

~Excerpt~

Xavior left the party and went for a walk around the boat, hoping to clear his head and maybe get a sense of this bride he needed to find. He’d ventured on land often in the last twenty years and met many human women over the years he hadn’t slept with, so he had no idea which one of these his bride could be. But if the tales were true, he would just know her, because he would be so drawn to her, the pull would be irresistible. After walking around for an hour he returned to their cabin, but too restless to sleep he made his way out to their private balcony.

The evening sky remained clear, the glittering points of light soothing, and the sea appeared calm, but he could smell a storm coming upon them. It would arrive soon from the east. Until it did, he would take advantage of the calm. Sitting back in one of the lounge chairs, he put his feet up on the railing, closed his eyes, and turned his face toward the half moon. A familiar clicking noise made him open them again. The shadows of dark fins in the water caught his attention. He stood up and placed his hands on the railing, watching the dolphins play as they swam alongside the boat. They spoke to him, wanting to know how his quest went. Did everyone know he was on a bride hunt? Of course they did. Not so good, he told them.

We’re rooting for you, Prince Xavior, young lord of the sea. She is right under your nose. Beware, though. There is a storm coming not of nature’s making. Good luck!

As one, all six dolphins leaped into the air in a salute to him before swimming away to spread the news that after over two hundred years their prince remained unsuccessful in finding his mate. He would be the first heir to lose the throne. Pathetic. What did they mean she was right under his nose? The sea witch was right? His bride was truly onboard? He just needed to have patience and he’d find her. But their words about the storm made him frown. Someone playing with the elements was never a good thing, and only one would dare. For the moment, he could do nothing about the white witch and her plots to keep him off the throne and continue the wars among the tribes. He had enough to concentrate on. He’d deal with her later.

Dillon Jefferies watched his girlfriend Laurel do a hurried final check of her son’s backpack. The seven-year-old wasn’t high-maintenance, but Adam’s mom definitely could be. A honk from the driveway made everyone look.
“Behave. Call me if you need anything. Love you.” Laurel hugged Adam tight and gave him his first cell phone. They’d practiced with it all week.
Dillon got a high five as Adam headed out for a weekend with his dad. The often absentee father didn’t get any points in Dillon’s book, but maybe, he had finally grown up. Either way, the phone connection made Dillon feel better about it. He had big plans for the weekend.
Laurel sat down next to Dillon on the couch and rested her head on his shoulder. Her reddish brown hair curled rebelliously as always. When she pressed her curvy figure to him, Dillon felt total trust and he saw it in her big green eyes.
“He’ll be fine. He’s got both our numbers and your parents’ programmed in there. Phone, email and text. If he needs us, he’ll get us.” He wrapped an arm around her.
She nodded. “I know. It’s just hard. Distract me?”
That was the plan, but it was more than a weekend of fun sex in bed that he had in mind. “You trust me?” he asked.
Her brow scrunched. “Of course. What are you up to?”
Checking his watch, Dillon knew the club crowd would be very light until dinner. Demented was something he’d never shared with her. It was time to take their relationship to the next level. All Dillon could do now was hope she handled it well.
“I’m going to take you out. First, I need to tell you something.” He held her hand.
“What?” Laurel’s face froze as if she were fighting off a cringe. Men had screwed with her before—Dillon knew that, and he had no intention of hurting her that way. He needed them to be closer.
“It’s not bad. Really. You know how I go to see my mom every month? Four hour drive there and back.” Dillon hated that lie.
She nodded.
“I don’t see my mom.”
Her body went stiff, and she pulled away. “Another woman? Seriously? Just go. Get out so you’re long gone before Adam’s back.”
Dillon smiled. He admired how she’d put her son first and didn’t take crap from men. When he started dating her, her friends had warned him one screw up was all it took to be history. Not because she’s a bitch but because she’d been hurt and after the divorce turned into a super protective mama bear.
“I’m not cheating on you. I’d never do that. Just listen.” He rubbed the tension from her shoulders.
“I thought you were different. Your trip isn’t always a weekend. Not consistent. Something was off.”
“But you never asked. Never followed me. You trust me.” Dillon looked her in the eye. “I go to a safe place because I have to.”
“Parole? Drug testing?” Her inner control freak couldn’t calm down.
“No and no. I’m a werewolf.” The words sounded silly, but the reality was anything but.
She leaned back. “Werewolf? Like an animal?”
“Exactly. I go into a safe environment for the full moon nights so I don’t hurt anyone.”
“You’d never hurt anyone.” Her hands framed his face. “Is this a joke? Some role-playing sex game I don’t understand?” she asked.
Dillon stood, removed his clothing and shifted to his wolf form. With no moon tugging at his animal side, he was in control so it was safe. When he saw the shock in her eyes, he licked her hand and shifted back.
Grabbing him, Laurel felt his body and for once was speechless. Which was good. He had plans for more than true confessions this weekend.
“I want to take you to the safe place. Show you everything.”
“I believe you now. I don’t want to see your cage.” She shuddered.
“It’s not a cage. Demented has a habitat that’s safe. It caters to a lot of paranormal needs. BDSM with paranormal beings can be dangerous.” Dillon wanted to show her the fun side of dating a werewolf.
“BDSM? Do you do that, too?” Her expression was hard to read, a mix of curiosity and caution.
They’d been dating for four months, and Dillon had proven himself with Adam. With Laurel’s ex. With Laurel’s family. With Laurel’s stressful life. Now, he wanted to prove he could help her stressed state.
“I haven’t since I started seeing you. I’d never hurt or cheat on you. But I think you might like to try some things. If you want.”
“I trust you…but what if I don’t like it? Don’t you think this is the sort of thing that you should tell someone early on? I mean, if we’re not really sexually compatible then there goes everything.” She threw up her hands and her toe tapped nervously.
“There were more important things. Your ex was a jerk. Adam. Not moving too fast and screwing it up. I wanted to be sure we worked before I suggested it.” He chuckled at how the BDSM issue had completely overshadowed the werewolf fact.
“So you think I’m a dominatrix? Some days I feel like drill sergeant.” She laughed.
“Sometimes we need all need a change.” He tugged her to her feet. “Let’s get you dressed and head over. It’s much better to go over the details there.”
She nodded and held his hand tight. Dillon squeezed her hand back. Her trust meant the world to him. Whether it was kinky sex or exploring the paranormal world he inhabited, he’d keep her safe. Once she had a submissive experience, he hoped that she’d understand it was a gift for both of them.

STAR WISHES by Missy Martine

STAR WISHES by Missy Martine

“All Aboard!”
“Stay close, guys.” Sarah began leading them toward the train. She turned around to make sure the boys were staying together and collided with a hard body. She turned, already offering an apology. “I’m so sorry, I wasn’t watching where I was…” She looked up into the face of the most handsome man she’d ever seen. He was tall, well over six feet, and muscular with brown hair and eyes. She could feel herself blushing.
“I’m sorry, young man. I wasn’t watching where I was going.” He glanced at the children and frowned, then turned back to Sarah. “My name is Isaac West, but you can call me Ike.” He held his hand out and looked at Sarah expectantly.
Reluctantly, Sarah placed her hand in his and shook it vigorously, like she thought a man would. She narrowed her eyes when she caught his slight smirk. “I’m Samuel…” She coughed to hide her hesitation. “Kees, Samuel Kees.”
Ike frowned and stared at the children huddled together. “Samuel, huh? Well, Samuel, are these your kids?”
Sarah tried to move the children further toward the train. “No, these are my sisters and brother. We’re traveling to meet up with our uncle. If you’ll excuse me, I wanna make sure we get on the train and get seats together.
Ike tipped his hat. “Pleasure to meet you, young man. Enjoy your trip. I’m sure I’ll see you around since we’re taking the same train.”
Sarah watched as he strolled toward the ticket counter. Zeke pulled on her arm. “What is it, Zeke?” she whispered.
“Are you okay, Samuel? Your face is getting mighty red.”
Sarah groaned to herself. “Come on, let’s get aboard and find some seats.

* * * *

Ike stopped and watched through the train’s window as the young boy seated the children on the train. All five of them squeezed into three seats. Something didn’t feel right. There was something off about the boy, but he couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Even the kids didn’t seem quite right.
He’d been working as a bounty hunter the past few years, trying to earn enough money to join up with his brother in Big Springs. They’d come west several years back with the idea of starting up a farm together. They’d planned on finding themselves a wife and settling down to raise a family. They’d just started settling in when they got word their Pa was real sick. One of them had to go home to help out their Ma.
Ike had always gotten along better with his Pa, so they decided he would travel home. His brother, Abe, took on the job of sheriff in Big Springs so he could earn money toward their dream while Ike was away. Ike did everything he could, but it hadn’t helped. Their Pa had succumbed to his ailment and passed away not long after he’d arrived. Ike had stayed on and helped his Ma settle in at her brother’s farm. It had cost a lot to get her moved, so he’d had to find a way to earn some more money toward his own dreams.
He’d accidently managed to bring in his first contract as a bounty hunter. He’d come across a man on the road after his horse had thrown him and run off. Turned out, the man had a hundred dollar bounty on his head. When he’d tried to steal Ike’s horse, he’d knocked him out and taken him to the sheriff. When he’d realized how much money he could bring in from bounty hunting, he’d kept after it. For the past two years he’d been on one job after another. Now, he had a nice nest egg, and he was ready to go home to Big Springs.
Ike boarded the train and took a seat a few rows back from the traveling family. He leaned back and pushed his hat over his eyes. He had to figure out a way to find out what was going on with Samuel Kees because he was sure hiding something. He sighed and settled further onto the hard bench. There was time to get some rest before he had to confront the boy. They wouldn’t make any stops for a couple of hours. It was going to be a long trip.

“Taylor, can’t we go out and have some fun without a lifetime commitment? Once I make the Olympic team, my free time will be non-existent. My meeting lasts until Tuesday. Then I’ll fly home to Glen Cove.”

His mouth went dry as he lost himself in the silky grayness of her irises. To hear her call him by his first name thrilled him deep inside and sent a surge of pleasure across his chest. He fought the urge to reach out, stroke her hair, and push a stray curl back behind her ear; an ear pierced by diamonds.
Just like those Hollywood starlets. Becka had looks, money, and heaps of athletic talent. So why did this beautiful young woman plead for a date?
“Can we make arrangements for getting together sometime after I get back? Give me a chance to get to know you?” she teased. She placed both delicate hands in the middle of his chest. Beneath the thin material of his shirt, his heart’s rapid beat must have invited her to lean in close. Too close. His body heated as she smiled up at him. Maybe he should blame the hot afternoon sun as the culprit. Either way, this felt like a bad idea. Vinnie’s recent frown came to mind. Guilt turned his stomach.
“Great,” she said at his silence. “Here’s my number. Call me and we’ll think of something to do, okay?” A blush colored her pretty face after she stressed the word something.
Without thinking, Taylor leaned down and kissed her. Her lips tasted of lemony sweet tea and he drank her in. Melting her lips to his made him instantly rock hard. The scent of honeysuckle and sweat filled his nostrils. When her arms circled his neck, he pulled her into a tight embrace. Moist palms slid down her arms to circle her waist.
“This is a bad idea,” he whispered against her teeth. In a blink, he pressed their mouths together, again. Soft in all the right places, and muscular in unusual places, his hands explored her body further.

Excerpt:

He'd first seen her the last time he was here, after he'd been interrupted by strange voices and footsteps. He hated being interrupted, especially since he'd been having such a good time, but in the end it all worked out. If he hadn't taken the time to pound Terry for getting distracted with that damn magic book, he wouldn't have seen his latest flame. She'd rounded the corner and headed straight for the café.
Dee and Terry had eaten there a few times. Dee didn't much care for the aloof manner of the staff or the snooty misspelled French name, but the food was good and you got a lot of it.
Terry had complained the whole time, but Dee had sat in the car all the rest of the night, waiting for his new target to leave the diner. She didn't come out until after the lunch rush.
Dee followed her to the subway, then took Terry to McDonald's for a few Happy Meals. Later that night, they went back to see if she'd return to the diner.
She did.

Every night, same time, same corner, same routine until Dee couldn't stand it anymore.
Now, he finally had her. He pulled out his hunting knife, thrilled with the clean grab.
He used the tip of his knife to trace the center seam of the back of her pants. The halves fell away, revealing two rounds of golden flesh. If her ass wasn’t God’s finest work, it had to be in the top ten.
“No panties, huh?” Dee smirked. “You dressed for our date, I’ll give you points for that.”
She glanced over her shoulder as the blade lightly moved along her spine. "Are you about finished?" she asked with a slight yawn.
Her voice was a low, silky, disinterested growl. To Dee, it was as sexy as it was annoying.
"Baby," Dee sneered, slicing through the backstrap of her bra, "I haven't even got good and started."
She turned around, slowly lowering her arms. "Three women have been assaulted and killed around here. Your work?"…

Trembling, Demetri released his hold on her. “Sharayna, what are we doing?”
Blue-green orbs melted through the lifeless puddles of black in his eyes. The dancing flames along the ceiling died down until there was no light left in the room. The glare from the full moon peeked from the opening in the curtains and veiled their bodies in red.
Demetri took in several long shuddering breaths like it was his first time drawing in air.
Unconsciously, she did the same. For the longest, they stared at one another, not saying a word.
He pressed his forehead to hers, released her leg and wrapped his arms around her. “What are we doing?” he asked again on a harsh whisper.
“I don’t know.” She curled her fingers around his biceps and slid a hand up over the bunched muscles in his shoulders. “What I said before…baby, you know I didn’t mean that, right? I, I don’t know why I said those things, or why I picked a stupid fight with you.”
He lifted his head and gazed at her with sadness in his eyes. His full lips quivered. “The blood. It has possession over us.”
Chills crept beneath her flesh. Lucius. His blood had fueled anger between them, preyed on her fears and doubts in an attempt to tear them apart. And he almost succeeded.
Damn, the things she said… Her heart lurched. “Demetri…”
All the pain he felt for what had just happen spilled from his gaze. He turned his head away and pushed up off her.
His beefy member exited her body. Her sensitive walls clenched in need for him.
He got to his feet and adjusted his pants. “Sweetheart, I don’t know if I can―”
Rayne shot up from the nest of pillows and pounced on him like a cat. She wrapped her arms and legs around him and then slammed him onto the pillows, using her own body weight to bring him down.
In a swift response, he flung her onto her back, pinned her arms out to her sides and straddled her. She erupted into a fit of giggles at the shocked look on his face.
“What is this?” His eyes were as wide as saucers. “Why did you do that?”
“I dunnooo,” she chortled, tears filling her eyes.
“Are you mad, Sharayna?” His gorgeous visage twisted into a scowl. “After what just occurred, you want to rough house with me?”
“I’m buggin’ out here.” Delirious laughter turned into panting sobs. “I’m scared outta my damn mind, D. You see this craziness? He got us trippin’ on each other and he’s not even here!” Her voice lowered to a shaky whisper. “What if we don’t snap out of it next time? What if we really hurt each other?”
He released her arms, pushed up, and nestled his torso between her thighs. “Ohh, sweetheart…” With his head buried in the cleft of her breasts, he dug his hands into the bundle of pillows beneath her and hugged her waist, his body hot and heavy on top of hers. He huffed out a weary sigh. “This is not the end. He has not bested us.”
She slipped trembling fingers into his hair and softly kneaded his scalp. “How do you fight what’s apart of you?” Tears bubbled from the corners of her eyes and trickled down her face. “How do you resist what’s in your blood?”
“Remember we are not only connected by lust.” He lifted up, took her hand and placed her palm to his chest. His heartbeat and warmth radiated through her touch. “We will get through this, Sharayna.”
“I don’t see how when he can―”
“Do you trust me?”
“Yeah baby, you know I do,” she whimpered.
Working the gown up her body, he pulled her further down beneath him until his long hardened cock rested along her nether lips. She moaned out a sigh and locked her legs around him. He pulled the bunched fabric over her head, tossed it aside and buried his face in the crook of her neck. Her body hummed in response.

Nick held his sexy prisoner against him like the precious treasure he now believed that she was. When had he come to believe her? When she’d been so stunned to be shot at? Or when she’d gotten excited about the possibility that he’d blindfold her? He hadn’t missed the flash of innocent excitement in her eyes. Or maybe it was when she’d begged him to fuck her? No it’s been when she’d turned out to be a virgin, and her reaction that she’d expected him to reject her. In that moment he vowed to protect her at all cost. And that meant he had to let her be and go to work. Think like a cop for pities sake and not like a love struck fool.

He reluctantly let her go and rolled out of bed. He wryly looked down at his disheveled state. Since when had he let a woman lead him by his cock in the bedroom and fuck her in a rush like a teenager on a hot date? Since he’d met sexy Mandy Wilson. With a wry shake of his head he put himself to rights then crossed the room to his sat phone. It couldn’t be traced like a cell phone could and something told him the gang chasing them had that kind of expertise. He strode out to the front porch, just to make sure that they hadn’t been followed. He’d been too sex-drunk before to pay much attention to security. Another reason to treat her like a prisoner until this was over.

BILLY'S RETURN by Alex J. Alex

BILLY'S RETURN by Alex J. Alex

Three girls and only one Billy? Can he keep up? It all started when Susan accidentally called up a minor demoness named Pantallas with a Tarot card. Then, at Diana’s birthday party, they played strip poker, all three of the girls and Billy, but that was before anyone knew about the pill so nobody went all the way.

Then Billy went to Viet Nam.

This story is about his return two years later. They are all on the pill now and intend to take advantage of it. Is Billy up to it? Can he really take on all three of the girls? Oh yeah! And all at the same time, with the help of Pantallas. But which one will he end up with?

Pantallas hovered, unseen, above them in the shower. She waved her hands in a ritual gesture. Billy’s cock stiffened instantly, standing straight out, pointing at Susan.

“Oh my,” whispered Susan to herself.

She stood up and turned off the shower. They exited and dried off with the large towels thoughtfully provided by Joan. Susan led him out and into the largest bedroom, her wide, round hips rolling from side to side. There, in the middle of the largest king-size bed he had ever seen, were Joan and Diana, naked and flushed, waiting for Billy and Susan to join them. They were fingering themselves.

Susan dropped between them and joined them in playing with herself.

Joan sat up and smiled at Billy. “It’s my turn again. I’ve been practicing something, and I hope I can do it right. I might choke, so these two will have to help.”

She turned around and leaned her head off the edge of the bed, looking up at Billy. She looked at his cock and reached out for it.

“What I want you to do is fuck my throat. I want you to slide that thing of yours all the way down into my throat so I can feel every bit of it while I swallow and keep swallowing. Now, you’ll have to pull almost all the way out on each stroke, so I can breathe, but I want you all the way in, too, each time.

Billy looked down at her. She tilted her head back and opened her mouth as wide as she could. Diana and Susan got up on each side of him and pushed him forward. Joan reached up and caressed his balls, which were hanging down and swinging beneath his cock. With her other hand, she guided it into her mouth and sucked it in.

“Ohhh!” said Billy. He pushed his hips forward so that his cock slid deep into her throat, and he could feel the muscles rippling around him as she swallowed, guiding his cock down the right pipe. His balls slapped against her forehead. He pulled out again so she could take a breath, but then, it felt so good, he involuntarily thrust forward again.

“Oh my god!” he yelled.

Pantallas made sure he stayed stiff and hard, and she made sure that Joan didn’t choke or gag and got enough air to breathe.

“Oh, Joan!” Billy thrust into her throat again, and then again. They developed a rhythm. Billy closed his eyes for a moment, then he looked down at her. He could see her throat expand as his dick entered and slid down into her esophagus.

Susan was rubbing her tits against his left side. She pulled his hand to her pussy and he played with her clitoris.

Diana got back up on the bed, stood up and placed her feet on either side of Joan’s head. She pulled Billy’s face to her pussy, playing with it and spreading the lips.

Billy licked out with his tongue to her clitoris: it smelled so wonderful and tasted so good. He sucked on the little hood covering the most sensitive part of her pussy.

“Ohhh!” she moaned.

“Mfff!”

Susan was caressing his balls as he slid his cock in and out, down Joan’s throat. He was still rubbing her clit.

With his other hand he reached around behind Diana and pulled her toward his face, playing with her marvelous ass as he sucked on her pussy. He stuck his tongue in as far as he could, trying to insert it up into her vagina.

Pantallas made sure he was successful.

“Oh god, Billy.”

Her hands were behind his head, crushing his face to her crotch.

And all the time, he continued to fuck Joan’s throat. He had come so many times already that it seemed to last forever. Diana shuddered over and over again as he used his tongue to elicit the most satisfying orgasms she could have.

She finally had enough and almost lost her balance when she got dizzy on the last orgasm. She got down, and Susan took her place. He brought her to a massive orgasm which made her twitch and buck against his face. She, too, finally had had enough and got down.

And he continued to fuck Joan’s throat. He looked down, fascinated by the way her throat expanded each time his cock entered it. He looked down the bed at her clean shaven pussy. She was fingering herself. He leaned over and licked at her, brushing her hand away.

“Mmmm!” she moaned.

He lay down on top of her and, reaching around behind her to grab the cheeks of that perfect ass, he dropped his face between her legs and sucked her clit into his mouth. His nose pushed up into her vagina. He continued to fuck her throat as he did his best to pleasure her. Her juices were flowing all over his face. He finally rolled on his back, pulling her over on top of him. The sight of her ass bouncing up and down as he licked her pussy fascinated him and he finally felt himself beginning to come.
