WOLF RUN by BA Tortuga

WOLF RUN by B.A. Tortuga

Mick is a lone wolf in all ways. He’s left his pack, he’s left his homelands and he’s on the road, footloose and fancy free.

Well, at least until he wanders up to a fence and finds a little wolf running his ass off behind it. Mick stops to let the pup out and is stunned to hear the young wolf, Scotty, tell him “no”.

Scotty's mate and best friend, Danny, asked Scotty to stay behind the fence, so he will be safe while Danny fights to support them both. All this leaves Mick’s fur standing on end.

Maybe, Mick doesn’t need one mate to bring him home. Maybe, he needs two.

He dropped his wolf form as soon as he was out of sight, his body lengthening into a biped. “Dude, why are you in a cage?”

The pup yelped and scrambled back, leaping onto the porch.

“Hey, I’m not here to hurt you. I can open the gate.”

The pup looked at him then boom, a lovely lean man stood there, shaggy blond hair curling around his face. “H-hey.”

“Hi. Would you like to run? I can get you out.” God, the kid was adorable and plenty old enough to play.

“Oh. Oh, no. Daniel would be so mad at me for getting out again.” Eyes the color of brandy caught the sun. “Daniel says I’ll get hurt, lost.”

“Does Daniel mistreat you?” Because Mick could beat someone down just for fun.

“Daniel? My Daniel?” The pup’s laugh was happy, joyous, the look on his face fond and warm. “Oh, no. Daniel loves me. He works for both of us. He brings me half his food every day. He’s a good mate. We… The Alpha said ‘too many males’, and we… Daniel pays for this home, he brushes me, he works all day every day.”

“Do you work?” Mick tilted his head, waiting, nodding in sympathy. Damn, it was hard for bachelor males to manage when thrust out on their own, especially ones who needed an alpha as much as this one did. It seemed like the kid barely held it together, at least on two legs. Sweet baby.

“I paint. I paint pictures, and I wash Daniel’s uniforms. I… I get… He follows rules better than me, and he can stop a shift, if he needs to. He can even work during the moon.”

Mick smiled, liking this kid a lot. “What’s your name, honey?”

“Scott. Scott Miller. What’s yours?”

Scott. It worked.

“I’m Mick Eagleheart. I like your belly. I kinda want to lick it.”

“Oh.” Scott jerked, and his cock started to fill, curving up toward the flat belly. “Oh, my.”

“Mmm. That’s nice, too.” Mick’s cock was happy to wave hello, as well, standing hard and proud.

“I probably should go inside.” That sweet nose was working hard, smelling him.

He caught the scent of Scott’s need, too. “I won’t bother you if you don’t want me to. I promise. I just hate to see you caged.”

“I want… I want you to come inside, but… I should ask Daniel.” Scott moved down the stairs, heading toward him.

“You should, huh?” When Scott got close, Mick saw the shadows under the man’s ribs. “Are you hungry?”

“Uh-huh. All the time. He brings me the biggest half of his hamburger and almost all the fries, every day.”

Mick raised a brow. “You eat one meal a day?” That would never do. Never.

“Every night. He brings me food every night.” Scott was close enough to touch now.

Mick reached out, gently, slowly, not wanting to startle the pup. Pure electricity shot up his arm, and Scott’s eyes flew open wide, a happy bark sounding.

“Do you want to hunt with me? I promise to bring you back.”

“Will I get in trouble?” Scott nodded, eagerly, the motion at odds with his worried words.

“No, I swear.” The high mountain desert teemed with birds, rabbits and chipmunks. It would take twenty minutes to get something yummy.

“Okay. Okay, yes, but please, don’t let me get lost. He gets so worried.”

“I have an amazing sense of direction.” And he could tell Scott really cared for this Daniel. Mick would never want to come between mates.

“Cool.” Scott climbed over the fence and into Mick’s arms.

“Hello, there.” What a pretty puppy this one was. So starved for a strong hand. Daniel must be another pup, not a big male. He leaned in and sniffed, the hint of another sweet beta like perfume.

Lovely. He’d have to check in with Daniel, as well. Later. Impulsively, he hugged Scott tight. “Let’s run.”

It took seconds before the pup was fuzzy beside him, excited and happy. Perfect. Mick barked, his wolf coming easily, and he led the way off into coyote country. Scott ran beside him, vocal and chatty, telling him about everything wonderful in the world. Mick liked it, the little noises. Oh, it would make it harder to find prey, but that was all right. How often did you get to experience that type of pure, unadulterated joy?

This kid was too cooped up, and Mick would bet the absent Daniel was, too. So many wolves forgot how to live close to nature.

Scott bounded up to him, licked his muzzle then bounced away. They would have to play, he could tell. He raced to Scott, nipping that fine tail. Scott spun, sand flying everywhere, and the pup barked furiously.

Letting his tongue loll, Mick backed off, tail up, head down.

Scott stopped, stared then plopped his front end down, bowing back. Good boy. Such good instincts.

Mick chuffed softly, praising, admiring, and that tail wagged so hard the pup nearly fell over. Sweet baby boy. A rabbit darted by, and they were off.

“Ken is going all out,” Bev said as she pointed to the stage.

Avery turned his head, and indeed, Ken was in rare form. Normally, he hung in the back with a big group performance. He kept an eye on the other men and whipped them into shape at the next rehearsal if they’d been sloppy on stage.

Still, Ken had cut down his solo dances to one a night. All of his actions lately signaled he saw the writing on the wall. Avery silently scolded himself for nagging Ken today. Pushing his buttons only made him rebel. But silence riled up Ken as well.

“Just when I thought he was figuring out he’s not a kid anymore.” Avery took a bite of his piece of cake.

“He’s a dreamer. He’ll slow down, but it’s a shame his prince never showed up.” Bev smiled innocently.

Avery shot her a look. “He’s an adult. We all are. And this is America. If he wants a prince, he should’ve moved to Europe years ago.”

“So literal. We are who we are. I’m a business woman. Always have been. You got into stripping for the money. You never loved it the way he does. He lives for the attention and validation.” Bev shrugged.

“I know. He’s more than looks, though.” Avery had spent a year being the adult in their relationship. Adoring Ken and dealing with his need for more. He’d stroked that ego day-after-day.

“We both know that. He doesn’t understand his value off-stage because no one applauds when he does other things. He’ll never see his real value. It’s a shame.” Bev watched the show.

“He still has plenty of admirers.” Avery wanted to pour himself a stiff drink when he watched a big bear in leather shove a tip in Ken’s glittering briefs. The bulky fan leaned way over and rubbed Ken’s thigh.

Avery had buried his jealousy long ago. Drunken customers were a daily trial, but the splash of beer from the fan’s bottle caught the bartender’s eye. “We need to clean up that stage.”

“Let them finish. I’m sure Ken saw it,” Bev said.

Ken leaned over to give the bear a kiss on the cheek and slipped on the liquid. He didn’t fall on the stage but off it, hitting the side as he went.

“Shit!” Avery muttered.

He and Bev watched, expecting Ken to pop back up and take a bow. The waiting was agony. When Ken didn’t turn up and instead a couple experienced dancers hopped of the stage then waved for a bouncer, Avery knew it wasn’t good. The DJ announced a quick break to clean things up and invited the patrons to enjoy lap dances and refill their drinks.

“Go check on him,” Bev said.

“Me?” Avery asked. “He’ll listen to you.”

Bev shook her head. “I’ll cover the bar. Go check on him.”

Avery headed backstage and found Ken pacing and cursing. “That idiot!”

“Relax, it’s not the first time someone spilled or fell on stage.” Avery noticed Ken cradling his right arm. Everything else seemed just fine on him, but his shoulder looked weird.

“Off. I fell off the stage,” Ken informed Avery. “I’m okay.”

“Except for that arm. I think it’s dislocated,” a bouncer said.

Avery saw the pain Ken was hiding. He’d had plenty of dancing injuries. Twisted ankles, knees and a thrown-out back. When they’d dated, Avery hadn’t minded nursing him. This time, Ken was in real pain.

“I’ll be fine. Probably badly bruised and sprained, that’s all.” Ken tried to downplay it. “Go on! Get back out there! Do your jobs. We’re not all injured.”

The bouncer and other dancers ran back out front. Ken’s hissy fits were second only to Bev’s. If Bev yelled, everyone worried. Avery knew that’s why she’d sent him. She’d be yelling at Ken, and things would spin in a bad direction.

As soon as they were alone, Ken’s calm face cracked. “Fuck this hurts!”

“Let’s go to the ER.” Avery grabbed Ken’s duffle and pulled out his jeans.

“No, I’m not going. It’ll be fine. Just twisted.” Ken shook his head.

Avery put his finger into Ken’s limp right hand. “Squeeze my finger.”

“It’s a pinched nerve or swollen joint. It’ll go down with some icing overnight,” Ken argued.

“We’re going. Want me to get Bev in here? File it as workman’s comp?” Avery threatened as he held Ken’s pants open.

“You’re such a jerk sometimes.” Ken stepped into the jeans.

Avery pulled them up and closed the fly. It’d been a long time since he’d been this close to Ken. The smell of his old lover, the perfect muscles and the good memories flooded Avery’s mind. No one else made him feel this way, but they didn’t need to reignite anything. It’d taken so long to find balance and friendship.

“Want to try a shirt?” Avery asked.

~Excerpt~

Clay Fulton and his friends watched the skies nervously. The water rose slowly in the streets as rain pounded the town. A low-level hurricane had swept up the Gulf, and while most storms were nothing major for centrally located Lucky Springs, this one had produced excessive rainfall. Add in gusting winds, and it was a good day to stay inside.

“We might be in for a flood,” Clay said. The former Army Reservist’s brain planned in terms of emergency action. The small town he grew up in rarely had extremes in weather, but a lot of the land was low lying.

“You’ll just have to stay here. We’re on high ground.” Dean hugged Clay from behind.

Men still felt new to him, but Clay leaned back into it. Privately, he knew he was bisexual, but he hadn’t put it out there publicly yet. Before, he’d strictly done women, and the men thing wasn’t quite second nature yet. He needed some reassurance. “You’ll get sick of me.”

“Not a chance.” Steve sat on the window seat that looked out from the huge log cabin. “In this weather, we should stick together.”

Clay discovered Steve and Dean were a couple when he returned to Lucky Springs. After high school, he’d gone into the Army Reserve and got a college degree, but nowhere else could be home. He was big into cheerleaders in high school, and a little real life experience taught him he’d been searching for more.

Things had changed when Clay was invited to one of the sex parties and found them there, as well. An open secret for most of Lucky Springs, private sex parties kept things interesting since there wasn’t a BDSM or swingers club in town. Not even a strip club or adult bookstore could be found until the next big city…more than two hours away by car.

Being back in the small town where in high school he’d been a top jock and really wild felt oddly comforting and also a little bit of a let down. He wasn’t the stud with big dreams anymore. He’d peaked in high school and went into the Army Reserve to pay for college and receive some discipline. Being back home felt safe, and his job at the factory in the IT department suited him.

“You’re quiet.” Dean pressed into Clay’s back. The tall, sexy man had dark brown hair, brown eyes and was a year younger than Clay.

The desire hummed through their bodies. Being with men wasn’t something Clay had ever thought of until the Reserve where hot, hard men were all over and not shy about what they did or where. And even still, Clay hadn’t done anything with men until these two.

“He misses all the action. He’s bored with Lucky Springs.” Steve stood up and pinned Clay between the bodies of the other men.

The hunk sandwich made Clay’s blood pound in his veins. “Not bored. How could I be with you two around? It’s just this storm feels different.”

“I think he’s missing women. We need to hit another party.” Dean trailed his hand up Clay’s tattooed arm. The pattern went from elbow to shoulder.

“A woman is nice. The right woman is harder to find.” Steve kissed Clay softly.

Giving in to the distraction, Clay kissed Steve back. The confident man was an inch taller than Clay and a year older at thirty-one. He’d shocked many Lucky Springs residents by coming back from college with his best friend’s younger brother as a boyfriend. Dean swore he knew all along Steve was the man for him.

Steve pressed into Clay and kissed Dean over Clay’s shoulder. Clay still couldn’t quite believe he was part of their relationship now. Of course, before the party, he’d have bet every penny he had they’d never fuck a woman. Seeing how fluid sexuality could be opened new worlds to him.

“I’m not in the way, am I?” Clay wasn’t sure if this would be forever, for now or where he even belonged. He didn’t want to leave. Of that much he was sure. Men weren’t a replacement for women. In fact, he hadn’t lost his lust for women at all. It was different, and being bisexual answered a lot of questions for him.

“Never.” Dean slid his hands over Clay’s crotch and teased his cock through the denim.

“Sharing is good.” Steve nipped at Clay’s neck.

“I don’t think he can go too long without pussy. Remember all the stories of him in high school?” Dean teased.

Clay’s face felt hot, but he wrapped his arms around Steve’s broad shoulders. His dark hair and piercing green eyes had always intrigued Clay. Now he understood he was attracted to men even in high school, and facing it had been too hard. He’d instead certainly enjoyed all the girls.

“Half of it was probably made up.” Steve claimed Clay’s mouth again, and their tongues tangled.

Moaning, Clay backed off the kiss and shook his head. “Most of the stories were true. I wasn’t an honors student. I did a lot of girls. I had no idea it was because I wanted to try guys, too. No matter how many girls I did, it wouldn’t be the same as a guy. Doesn’t mean I don’t want women also.”

“You know now.” Dean nuzzled the back of Clay’s neck. “We’ll find the right woman and life will be perfect.”

Clay wanted to believe them. But he’d pleasured and screwed over a lot of women his age in this town years ago. He wasn’t as popular these days. If he came out as gay, they might forgive him. But wanting dick and pussy would only add to the greedy, cocky bastard image. Bad boys in high school were hot. Adult women wanted responsible and successful men. “The women here who know me will think I’m a jerk.”

“Or you were confused. Don’t underestimate people.” Steve understood the high school games since he was the current football coach, but Clay knew people remembered a lot and held grudges. The scars from teenage years didn’t disappear. As Steve worked his hands under Clay’s shirt, it was hard to care. “Let’s wait out the rain in a more fun way.”

Ready to agree, Clay tugged his shirt over his head. As the fabric fell to the floor, he spotted something through the window out in the road. “What the hell?”

Steve turned. “That car won’t make it.”

It was a small sedan creeping along as the water level continued to rise. “The water will cover the tail pipe and the car will drift.” Dean shook his head. “Fire and Rescue won’t get here in time.”

“We’re here.” Clay fished his keys from his pocket. “My pickup can handle that.”

Steve stood at the ready but looked unsure of what to do. Dean was a vet, so they had first aid if they needed it. Clay’s brain immediately calculated the needs and dangers. “Steve, you can handle my oversized pickup, right?”

“Sure. The thing is huge, but that’s good because this water will be nothing for it.” Steve took the keys.

“Okay, Dean you’ll be in the back with me. Get blankets or whatever just in case. Plus rope. Not sure how this’ll go. First aid supplies won’t hurt.” Clay shoved his stocking feet into work boots.

Dean gathered what he needed, and Steve helped, they knew where everything was stored in their house on the edge of town better than Clay. Technically, Clay still had a room at his uncle’s house, but he had been staying with Dean and Steve off and on. He never wanted to leave this safe space of open talk and sex.

Clay watched the car dip into higher water, knowing the engine would cut out in seconds because it couldn’t exhaust. The other two walked up, ready to go. As the trio dashed out the door and into Clay’s pickup, he was grateful he’d gone for the oversized and fully equipped gray Tundra. It had reminded him of the big military vehicles, and his uncle said it was too much car for a keyboard tapper with a desk job. Now that truck would prove its use.

Steve drove into the water and pulled up next to the small, red sedan with a sunroof. Looking inside, Clay recognized the gorgeous black woman behind the wheel. Kacy Hillen was smart, strong, put together, and had never once looked Clay’s way. The sexy woman now stared at him for help as her engine refused to turn over. The driver’s side window was cracked but not enough to pull her through.

“Don’t bother. It’s locked,” Clay shouted.

She popped the manual sunroof up. “Damn it! Help me; I need to get to the school.”

“Not now, you don’t.” Clay hopped over the side of his truck bed and stood on the hood of her car. He needed to move fast before it became buoyant and was washed away by the building current. They had to get her out of there. “Park it and put the sunroof all the way back if you can. We need to get you out.”

“What about the door?” She rolled down the window and looked. “Shit!”

“Water is coming up fast, come on,” Dean shouted as he tossed a rope to Clay.

Clay fixed the rope through the sunroof and open window before tying it off. They’d at least have a tether. She tried moving the sunroof.

“The pop up is manual, but the slide-back is electric,” she said.

“Cover your eyes.” Clay grabbed a crow bar from the back of his truck. When she was covered, he cracked the sunroof off the top of the car and kicked it into the water. “Be careful.”

Her purse landed on the car’s roof first, and he tossed it into the bed of the truck. “Take my hand, Kacy. I don’t bite.”

“That’s not what every girl in high school said.” She smiled and tugged the hood of her raincoat up over her head. He saw her mentally prepare herself for something out of the norm, and finally, she grabbed his hand and worked her way up through the sunroof hole until she stood on the seat.

“I’ve got you. Don’t worry.” Clay ignored the beating rain on his bare torso. He’d be freezing soon, but getting Kacy safe was the priority. Watching her wiggle free of her car was a reward itself. She slid down the windshield.

Her sexy curves and large, beautiful eyes had intrigued him even back in high school. She’d always been a good girl who didn’t get into trouble or give players the time of day. When her gym shoes landed on the hood of her car next to Clay’s, he was relieved. She’d dressed practically, in jeans, a T-shirt and sturdy shoes. Why she was out in this weather would be a question for later.

“Pull forward a bit,” Clay shouted to Steve.

The truck moved up, and Dean let the rope go more. Then he popped the tailgate down so Clay could get Kacy into the bed easily.

Clay exhaled as he stepped into the bed of his truck and locked it. “You okay?” he asked Kacy.

“Fine! Thank you. I didn’t expect to get so bad this fast.” She held the side and sat in the back of the truck bed. Steve had the windows open so he could hear what was going on in the back.

“Flash flood was no joke this time. The storm system stalled over Lucky Springs, and it’s not letting up. We’ll take you inside,” Dean said.

“You’ll be safe with us. Where the hell were you going in this weather? Every report says to stay home.” He shook his head.

Kacy met his gaze with a challenging look of her own. He didn’t mind rescuing people, but the question was valid. She seemed smarter than to run off into danger. Or maybe she was just the book-smart sort of woman?

~Excerpt~

“They always want an ass.”

Ethan Long twiddled his thumbs and bounced his foot on his other knee. He’d been summoned into the boss’ motor coach to talk racing. Most guys would hate to be called on the carpet. Not Ethan. Hell, he expected the weekly lecture. He’d wrecked two trucks in Pocono, torn them to smithereens. As usual, his crew chief, Sam, and the big boss, Collin, would rip him a new asshole. Ethan might not have cared except Flash Racing had become not only known for solid finishes thanks to his team mate, Will, but the shop had garnered the name Fucking Romance racing. First Will and his crew chief, Adam, had hooked up, then Collin and Sam had started doing the horizontal mambo.

Ethan refused to be the next domino to fall. No way. He wasn’t about to fall in love or settle down with one man. Not when plenty of hot men and women populated the crowds. No, he’d stay Ethan the Long Shot to Win and come out on top despite the odds.

Except, this time, Sam and Collin weren’t around. Ethan’s skin crawled. Both men tended to tag-team growl at him after the race. This silence bothered him. Suddenly, the door clicked behind him, making him jerk. He turned toward the sound. Instead of Collin, another man strolled into the office. Royce Darden, the hottest guy on the racing circuit—except Royce didn’t drive a car. He sold the die cast versions and whatever else fans wanted to buy with Will’s face or name emblazoned on it.

“Hey.” Royce smiled then glanced around the luxury coach. “I thought Collin was here. No?”

“He’s not been by.” Ethan stood and rubbed his clammy palms on his jeans legs. His heart skipped a beat whenever he saw Royce. Part of him wanted to jump the man. The rest of him…wanted to jump on him, too.

“Well.” Royce scrubbed the heel of his hand over his face then sighed. “Thanks. I’ll see if he’s with Sam.”

“Hold up,” Ethan blurted. He’d never been attracted to the mild-mannered type like Royce, but what the hell. Why not make a play for the sexy man? “Why don’t you stick around here? Unless you’ve got someone waiting on you.”

Ethan held his breath while he waited for Royce to respond.

Royce narrowed his eyes. “That ship has sailed.”

“Oh.” Ethan couldn’t hide his disappointment. He wasn’t sure what he’d expected Royce to say, but the rejection stung.

“I mean, my ex couldn’t handle my hours at Flash and my crazy travel schedule. He wanted me home, and racing doesn’t stay home for long.” Royce smiled. He settled onto the chair next to the door. “What were you thinking?”

“Wait.” Ethan processed Royce’s words. He? Royce had said the word he, right? “He?”

Shit. He needed to stop blabbing the first word on his mind.

“Your gaydar is correct.” Royce folded his arms. The muscles tensed beneath the sleeves of his polo shirt. “Brian wanted a nine-to-five guy. I’m not.”

“You don’t flaunt it.” Ethan sank down onto the couch. Christ, if he hadn’t had this discussion with Royce, he’d never have guessed Royce was gay.

“I don’t need to.” Another smile, as if Royce knew something Ethan had yet to figure out.

“I see.” Ethan leaned back in his seat. “I finished second in the race. Did you see me?”

“I watched the ending. Will won. Did a damned good job.”

No inflection in Royce’s voice, but at least, Ethan had gotten him to talk some more. “I let him have that last corner.”

“You were a full second behind him.”

A full second and a whole hell of a lot looser in the turns. He should’ve finished worse than he had. Fuck. Ethan groaned. “I doubt Collin’s coming back, and I’m horny as hell. I want you to fuck me.” He leapt out of his seat and stalked across the short expanse to where Royce sat. “Don’t tell me you’ve never initiated a motor coach.”

“I have.” Royce kept his arms folded. “But I’m not interested.”

“What?” Ethan recoiled as if he’d been slapped. People just didn’t tell him they weren’t interested. They fawned over him and begged him for sex. Where did Royce get off telling him no?

“You’re cute and all, but you’re young.” Royce nudged Ethan out of the way and stood. “You’re what…twenty-three? I’ve got almost ten years on you.” He patted Ethan’s shoulder. “Better luck next time.”

Before Ethan could form a coherent response, Royce left the motor coach. The door clicked shut, and realization struck. Of all the guys to wander in and out of his life, this one, Royce Darden, the guy who looked good without trying, didn’t want any piece of him.

So why did he stick fast in Ethan’s mind? Who knew? Because he kind of liked the guy as more than a fling. But he’d always been the bad guy—the one to walk away first. Ethan replayed the post race interview over and over in his head. Your fenders are bent all to hell, and you’ve managed to upset three-quarters of the field. Despite that, you finish well. You’re booed. How do you like being the bad guy?

When the perky woman asking him the questions had stopped talking, he’d stared at her. He’d known what he wanted to say, but the words hadn’t come right away.

“Just doing my job,” he’d said. “The boos spur me on. Who doesn’t want to be the bad ass? Guys know not to try stuff with me because I’ll put the stomp on them. Besides, you’re talking to me, not them. Score one for me.”

What an ass. He’d sounded confident to the point of being cocky. He rolled his eyes at himself and plopped onto the couch. Being the jerk sucked. All those race machines torn up for what? So he could look cool? Good finishes meant more attention. Lord knew the second place finish hadn’t even scored him a date with Royce. And why? Royce probably wanted a mature guy, a guy who raced like a pro…not a dumb kid.

Screw it. He wanted Royce and wasn’t about to take no for an answer. He’d prove he wasn’t a kid, and he was just the man Royce needed.

To some, Lucky Springs was just a sleepy, small town in the middle of Louisiana. For Lizzie Bouvier, it was the perfect fit.

After dinner at the café with the two men, she’d been seeing, the trio walked down Main Street.
Group relationships and an excess of attractive men made the small town a real haven for those who wanted to be unique but not hide out in a big city.

“Do you miss Shreveport?” Byron Thurmon asked.

Lizzie shook her head. “That was too loud and busy. I like it here.”

How could she not like it when she had two sexy, bisexual men? They were sweet, and she could watch them and enjoy both of their attentions. Byron had short black hair and deep blue eyes. He was strong and lean. When she started as a customer service representative at the Lucky Springs factory, she’d been attracted to Byron and his boyfriend, Fisher Mulroy, right off the bat.

“Maybe you’re secretly planning to move back to the bayou?” Fisher took her hand.

“No way. I couldn’t have two men on a date back there. My brothers and cousins would feed you to the swamp critters.” Walking between them, she felt safe but couldn’t shake the sensation something was missing. It could just be an off night. With three in a relationship, it was always a learning experience.

And here, two was nothing. Her friends Zoe and Ashley had each ended up with four men to juggle. Lizzie wasn’t greedy, and the pair would be plenty. It’d still be daring compared to her simple Cajun roots. The odd feeling wasn’t about keeping up with her friends but about the way the trio clicked so far. She’d been here about a year and dating the two men over five months, but it still seemed light and fun. There was no real sense of moving things to a more serious level. Though both Byron and Fisher were born and raised in Lucky Springs, she hadn’t met Fisher’s family at all yet and had only been introduced to a few of Byron’s family members. In some areas, everything was perfect, but it also didn’t feel serious for almost five months of dating.

While Zoe and Ash’s men all had their lives and acts together, making things move quickly, that didn’t mean it’d be the same for Lizzie or her other roommate Crystal, who was still single. The four friends had moved here from Shreveport a year ago after being laid off during the recession and found jobs at the factory.

“Want us to take you home?” Fisher asked as they arrived at the guys’ apartment building.

Fisher was younger and still a bit bashful at twenty-five even though he’d been with Byron since high school. She assumed Fisher simply hadn’t been with girls too often. He seemed still to be in the bachelor phase. His short brown hair, pale blue eyes and boyish face endeared him to her. Both men were dressed casually in khakis and polo shirts, and she wanted more time with them in less clothing.
“No, maybe I’ll come up and hang out for a bit.” She followed them up the stairs to their new place. The factory expansion begun two years ago had triggered some building in the town, which had attracted most of the single men. Now things were leveling off, and the town was finding its balance again.

While the house Lizzie and her friend Crystal were renting felt homey and inviting, the guys’ newly built apartment building still smelled of paint. Both men had lived in the town all their lives.

As much as she loved them, maybe they weren’t ready to settle down. Flopping on the couch, she forced away her questions. Rushing a commitment or any relationship was a classic mistake. Lizzie was old-fashioned and wanted the family and stability. That attitude frequently scared men off.

On the other hand, Lizzie wasn’t the type to hop from group to group. The dream of a home and a white picket fence with kids playing still worked for her. What happened in private was just that—private.

When the two men sat down on either side of her and started kissing her neck, it certainly felt right. Her stress and questions melted as her body heated up. Their strong bodies pressed to her, and she knew it wasn’t wrong.

The practiced team unbuttoned her sundress and slid it down her body, and Byron immediately sucked her breast into his mouth. She wasn’t overly endowed and loved getting the looks when she went braless. The lack of panties didn’t go unnoticed either. Fisher rubbed her slit gently.

Her body flushed and tingled as the arousal took hold. In no time, Fisher’s fingers were slick. Her body arched for more as Byron nipped her breasts. She reached down and stroked them through their pants. They were hard, and she needed them naked. Now.

Working on their flies, she watched the men remove their shirts. When Fisher leaned in and kissed Byron, her cunt trembled. Men who liked to screw each other added a new layer of wildness in her sex life. Two men had always been a fantasy, but her reality was even better. Byron’s chest had thick hair that trailed down to his cock while Fisher was smoother. They were a sexy pair.

She kissed Fisher then Byron while she massaged their erections to full length. Licking her way down Fisher’s body, she inhaled his masculine scent. She knelt on the couch and nuzzled Fisher’s shaft playfully at first.

Byron slid behind her on the sofa and gripped her hips. Gasping, she opened her legs and let him eat her pussy. Two men were perfect. She could dream of juggling more, but two kept her busy. Byron’s tongue worked her closer and closer to orgasm as she sucked Fisher’s member in deeper.

“Please,” she said, stroking Fisher as she rubbed back on Byron.

“Come for me, then I’ll fuck you,” he said.

They loved to tease, and she couldn’t argue with men who could go all night. She relaxed and stopped trying to hold on. Byron massaged her inner folds and licked in and out of her. What she needed was his erection right there, but she was too close to argue.

Fisher cupped her breasts and tugged on her nipples. She sucked his balls as she rocked back on Byron until he fingered her clit just right. The heat and tremors spread instantly throughout her. She pressed her face to Fisher’s hard body as she moaned. Byron held her hips and ate her through as her climax faded.

“She needs more than that,” Fisher said.

“A lot more.” She grabbed his pants from the floor, dug into Byron’s pocket and found a condom. The men were always prepared.

Instead of passing it back, she slid it on Fisher, facing him, and straddled his hips. Long and thick, the young man was well endowed. Sinking slowly on his cock, she watched the relief and surrender in his eyes. She rode him hard but took her time.

“You want two or are you teasing Fisher?” Byron nibbled on her neck.

“He’ll never last if you join in there.” Lizzie gripped Byron’s cock and tugged him up until he sat on the back of the couch next to Fisher.

“God, yes!” Fisher sucked Byron’s cock as if he hadn’t had a man in weeks.

Lizzie smiled up at Byron as her fingers teased his balls just behind his sac. He thrust harder into Fisher’s mouth, and in turn, Fisher lifted into her cunt faster. She squeezed Fisher’s cock deep inside of her as she pinched Byron’s tight ass. The sexual compatibility blew her mind. It was so fluid and shameless she let herself go more than she ever had with just one man. She’d asked for more from them than any other.

She drove herself down on Fisher’s cock, and he grabbed her hips, helping her add force as she rode. There was no problem with liking things a little rough, but she’d never admitted that to anyone but them. Byron held her hair and pressed her to his balls. She nipped them, and he smiled. Then his hand connected to her ass.

A little spanking got her going. She’d discovered the sexy duo didn’t mind giving her a taste of the firmness in bed. They weren’t into domination really, but her love of harsher play made them see her not as a sweet bayou girl but a woman who needed two men and a lot of sexual attention.

“More,” she moaned.

Byron gave her a swat on the other cheek, and the sting stimulated her, making the sex better. The rush pushed her to grind on Fisher’s cock. He released Byron’s cock and pinched her nipples, rolling them until she groaned. Only then did Fisher slide his fingers down and pat her clit. The spark nudged her closer to release, but they had to come too or she’d never be satisfied.

Thrusting into her, Fisher made her body bounce as he jerked Byron’s cock. She loved the view and the deep ways the men both were touching her right now.

“Fuck!” Byron’s cum shot over Fisher’s chest and down his fist.

“More?” Fisher jerked his lover a little longer and added a harder tap to her clit.

“Yes!” Byron smacked her ass before sliding behind her.

“Oh God!” She fell forward and clutched Fisher as the release sent her into convulsions. Byron held her, and Fisher rolled her nipples again. The throbbing and deep tremors overtook her body. Her hips snapped down on Fisher’s erection even as her orgasm faded. She licked Byron’s cum off Fisher’s chest then bit his skin.

“More!” Fisher shouted.

She felt his release, and Byron pinning her between their bodies as the men kissed. Snuggling up, she joined their kiss, and they held her tight.

Some believed doing business with family was a mistake, but Carl D’Agostino needed someone he could trust. He stood alone on the still dark side of Big D’s Strip Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. Both sides were fairly identical and kept insanely clean due to his Aunt Bev’s high standards.

Aunt Bev was the most successful member of Carl’s family, at least in his opinion. She’d made her club a destination in a city that had plenty of sex and shows for sale. He’d asked her for the start up loan because he admired her. If she approved of the business plan, he’d feel even more confident about it.

But instead of interest on the loan or part ownership in his business, she’d asked for him to prove himself. At thirty, he’d managed plenty of small night clubs around Vegas. Wanting to start his own club wasn’t so crazy. Unfortunately, his investments had gone bust back when everyone else’s had. He’d been in for high returns, which had meant high risks. He’d pulled out of the stocks before he’d lost it all at only thirty-one-years-old. His investment hadn’t been long-term dollars for retirement. It had been his startup capital.

He’d gambled and lost. Now, he’d manage the strip club for Bev while she was up in Reno working on her deal for a second location with a couple of her best dancers. That meant the club was minus the two top draws, but not the guy Carl had always stared at whenever he’d stopped in to see Bev.

Hunter Campbell stood out because he had real muscle, but it wasn’t grossly overdone. Still, he always drew the caveman routine and bodybuilder acts because of his form. His dark brown hair and piercing green eyes made Carl stare every time he saw Hunter. He had to ignore the part of him that saw something deeper in Hunter’s eyes. Now, he might have to talk to the tanned hunk. Carl wanted to focus on his career, not flings.

The lights snapped on, and Carl turned. Avery, the older African American bartender, waved. Carl knew Avery used to dance, but according to Bev, he’d keep an excellent eye on the men’s side. The bartender on the women’s side was equally good so Carl could float and supervise.

“You can relax. The guys know what they’re doing,” Avery said.

Carl nodded. “I know, but I want to show my aunt I can handle it. Maybe have an idea or two.”

“Ideas are good. The schedule is pretty much set though. It’s only for a couple weeks.” Avery shrugged.

“I know. I won’t get in the way of the normal stuff. Still, a fresh set of eyes never hurt.” Carl knew they didn’t need him. Avery had been here for years, and so had another dancer named Ken, who strutted around as if he were now in charge. The day-to-day stuff would be fine in their hands, and Carl didn’t want to step on any toes. They didn’t understand why Bev had bothered to bring in Carl, but Carl did. It was a test.

“No, nothing wrong with a new perspective, but Bev knows what she’s doing. Rehearsal starts in half an hour. New act ideas are always welcome. She likes to keep the routines fresh. Not sure what you know about dancing or performing, but if you’re trying to impress Bev, start there.” Avery nodded.

Carl smiled. “Thanks.” He was used to people underestimating him. No one would put him on stage. A regular guy who was too tall and on the skinny side, Carl wasn’t turning down tons of dates. He was smart, but unlike his parents, a routine corporate job couldn’t satisfy him. His mom and dad talked about Aunt Bev as if she were the black sheep and crazy. While Carl wouldn’t dance on stage naked, he admired her for wanting more than working for others.

She owned this place and was expanding to a second location. It was a huge responsibility and risk…and that was something his parents hated. Since business school, Carl had been learning about the real world and had been burned. Part of him wondered how bad it would be to get a middle management job in some casino or other business. He could take up rock climbing for an adrenaline rush.

In the end, he’d never last. He wanted to be the boss, the owner who’d profit from the risk and hard work. Aunt Bev was giving him a shot, and he couldn’t screw it up. He’d manage the club and keep things steady, but if he wanted that money, he knew he’d have to show her something worth investing in.

* * * *

Hunter spotted their temporary boss exiting Bev’s office and went back around the women’s side, so Carl didn’t see him. The cash bag and receipts were dropped off, and it was rehearsal time. Carl had been the subject of a ton of talk by the dancers.

In the rehearsal studio, Hunter changed into comfortable shorts and a T-Shirt. Stretching, he blended in with the other men. Ken led a familiar routine and put the newer dancers into a loop until they were flawless.

Ken walked over to Hunter and smiled. “Seems the new boss will let us do our jobs in peace.”

“We don’t need a babysitter,” Peter piped up from Hunter’s other side.

Hunter kept quiet as they finished the stretches. Peter was a ballet veteran who could out bend and dance anyone. Peter was hard to impress and not a big fan of new blood.

“Bev wants family in charge. We won’t let her down,” Ken said.

“The guy is in the club. I don’t think he’s a total slacker.” Hunter kept the books, so he found himself alone with Bev at various times. He’d heard a lot about Carl from Bev. She loved her nephew and believed in him. Too bad, his family had doubts that they’d infused in the man. Hunter had never admitted an attraction to Carl, but then again, he and Carl had never even spoken. After all Bev’s chatter, Hunter felt as if he knew the new boss.

“He better not try to change everything.” Peter sighed.

Ken nodded. “We’re a well-oiled machine. Hunter, you’ll be on every night since we’re short two dancers.”

“Fine.” Hunter normally was a part-time dancer. He did the books here, as well as for a few other small local businesses. Dancing fulltime would mess up his schedule a bit, but more cash tips weren’t bad since tax season hadn’t ramped up yet. The guys he did taxes for were the last minute types, but he’d earn a lot of cash from those late nights as well.

He’d been laid off in the downturn. Vegas had taken a serious beating all around, and the recovery had been slow. Small gay owned businesses and stripping had saved him. The rush he felt on stage beat any boring day job. Now, going back to the grind of a day job seemed foolish. All your eggs in one company’s basket meant at any time they could toss you out…splat!

Now, he had multiple bookkeeping clients and the stripping thing. It wasn’t perfect, but if one business closed, another opened. He had more connections and options now.

Ken called for the dancers to work on their own acts. The guys broke up into groups and rehearsal went on as normal. After Ken gave some of the newer guys a few pointers, he walked back over to Hunter.

“I wonder why Carl isn’t in here,” Ken said.

“Maybe he’s not gay?” Peter shrugged.

“Why does that matter?” Ken replied.

Hunter chuckled at how Ken pinched his lips together and studied all the performers. Ken was a great dancer and a perfectionist. He seemed content to dance forever. Hunter respected his dedication since Ken was no young hot stud. The guys called him the Silver Fox behind his back because his blond hair was slowly silvering. There was no debate that Ken’s body was still good.

“Not every dancer is gay. We give the customers what they want to look at. If Carl can’t handle naked men, he’s not doing his aunt any favors.” Ken tapped his toe to the music.

“That’s true. Think he’s gay?” Peter asked.

Ken inhaled and pouted. “No. If he liked it, he’d come around and help his aunt all the time. She’s not a prude. He’d get comped at the bar and the door. Why wouldn’t he bring friends in and stir up business for his aunt? She’d be flaunting her gay nephew all over the men’s side, especially for pride events.”

Peter nodded. “Probably.”

Hunter understood Ken’s assessment, but part of him hoped for better things. Just as Carl stepped into the room, the attraction hit Hunter hard, and he blurted out, “No, he’s gay. I’d bet on it.”

The look in Carl’s brown eyes made Hunter sure of it. The guy was cute and sexy. Tall and lean, he had curly black hair and a shy smile. His clothes didn’t show off his body, and his shoulders slumped as if he didn’t want to be noticed for being so tall. Not a huge flirt and not movie star handsome, Carl could be overlooked by plenty of men. Hunter liked diamonds in the rough.

“Bet? How do we prove that?” Ken asked.

“I think Hunter wants to find out for himself,” Peter said.

Ken folded his arms. “Well, he’ll have to prove it if he wants to collect on an actual wager.”

“Terms?” Hunter knew Ken loved a good wager to keep things entertaining around the strip club.

“Five hundred cash. You have two weeks while Bev is out of town to find out if he’s gay,” Ken said.

“How can you prove that without getting graphic?” Peter smirked.

Hunter cleared his throat as Carl wandered closer. “I’m not taking any bedroom pics. A kiss should do it. A long, serious kiss here, witnessed by Ken.”

Ken nodded. “Fine, we’re just after sexuality confirmation. I don’t care if you score. But you can’t pin him down and force the make out session.”

“Please, Carl and Bev would fire him for that. She’s tough on sexual harassment,” Peter said.

“I’m not going to push myself on a straight guy anyway. Peter, you’re the witness?” Hunter held out a hand.

“Sure,” Peter replied.

“It’s a bet.” Ken shook Hunter’s hand. “Two weeks.”

“It probably won’t even take one.” Hunter smiled at Carl. One week for a kiss, no problem. If Hunter had his way, he’d soon have a lot more. The bet was just the cover he needed so the other dancers didn’t freak out when he made a play for the new boss. Peter had moved on already and was no doubt talking about the latest bet. Gay or straight, men loved to one-up each other. Winning was always good.

Ken shook his head. “You can do better, Hunter.”

“You’re shallow, Ken,” Hunter replied.

“We’re selling sex. It’s the business.” Ken shrugged. “Sexy people sell the fantasy. Whatever you’re up to, I hope you know what you’re doing. Bev loves her family, and if you screw him over in a bad way…job over.”

Carl came over as Ken went back to running the men through the acts they knew so well they needed no coaching. Hunter knew Ken was absolutely right. If he hurt Carl, Bev would be royally pissed. That wasn’t pretty, but deep down, Hunter couldn’t resist the chance.

Excerpt:

Curtis MacDonald watched the woman of his dreams. It was his job, after all. The world of stars opened up as Shannon Madison worked the controls in the observation room deep inside of Area 51. It was no shock that she’d turned out to be an astronomer since her mother had come from out there just as Curtis had. He didn’t get romantic often, but MacDonald and his small group of aliens, Milton, Ross and Gavin, had been protecting Shannon, the secret hybrid, for several months.

Milton Hexner guarded the main door and Gavin Parchner was stationed at the other exit on the opposite end of the room. Ross Gronbuck stood nearby checking his Smartphone for any alerts. They looked the same as all Keelon aliens did in the deserts of Nevada, brown haired, brown eyed, and Caucasian. Their strength was superior, but they blended in well. Being a Keelon alien was top secret so they worked for the government.

Area 51 was known as Dreamland, and for the four male lovers, who’d been bonded as a fighting team before they’d left their home planet, this was a dream. On earth, they’d found a planet with less war and more women. Specifically, they’d found their woman. However, claiming Shannon was dangerous. She was at Dreamland for her protection. Still, there was so much she didn’t know and the aliens did. Orders were orders, and telling her the complete truth was not allowed.

She studied the night sky through the ultra-powered telescope, and Curtis examined her. Long brown hair and dark brown eyes set off her lovely pale skin. She was tall and slim with subtle curves in the right places. Her temper was even and nearly docile in a way. While she complained about being kept here for observation, she hadn’t tried to escape.

No human woman Curtis had known in the twenty years he’d been on Earth would take that without demanding a phone call, a lawyer and throwing a serious fit. Shannon truly was a human/Keelon hybrid.

Shannon turned a few dials. “It’s such a clear night. I love it.”

“We really should close up stuff here and go to bed,” Curtis said.

Shannon loved to stay up all night and sleep all day. However, in the cover of darkness was when the Keelons from the home world seemed to make their visits. The last thing anyone needed was for Shannon to spot an alien vessel. She had no clue some aliens had found peace and safety on Earth while others wanted to use and abuse humans.

“Stop it. This isn’t hurting anyone.” She flipped a few switched. “Look at that. More test flights?”

“Probably.” Curtis nodded to Ross.

Ross shrugged.

Then Ross’ phone alarmed. “We need to get you back to your quarters and safety.”

“What? You said it’s our Air Force testing new things. It’s nothing really dangerous. I’m tired of hiding out in my quarters.” Obviously, she trusted them. She vented about the restrictions the powers at the top had put on her, but Shannon wasn’t a fool. She understood that the men were under orders of their own and might not be able to tell her the absolute truth even if they wanted to indulge her. Curtis loved her honesty and never took the woman’s frustrations personally.

Curtis hated lying to her but her safety mattered more.

“I’m sorry, but we really need to go!” Curtis shut down the observation room and grabbed her around the waist.

This time Shannon struggled and wrestled herself from his grip. “I’m sick of this. Tell me the truth!”

Gavin was the warrior of the group and picked her up so she couldn’t escape his grasp. “We will discuss things in your quarters where you are safe.”

His superior strength trumped any of Shannon’s efforts to get loose. Finally, she folded her arms and pouted as he carried her through the halls.

Curtis admired her stubborn streak and beauty. He couldn’t tell her the truth, but the alert notified the men of another Keelon vessel in Earth’s orbit. With the constant visits, the facts couldn’t be withheld from her much longer. For the first few months, she’d been contained in the lab with only a modular pod for privacy. Eventually, the doctors would run out of tests and excuses. Now that she had more freedom and had explored base within in her access level, the reality would reveal itself.

Once inside their room, Ross locked the door. Gavin gently set Shannon onto the couch in the common area. Shannon had a bedroom to herself, and the men shared another. They guarded her constantly. A bond and attraction had built between the five of them, but they had yet to cross the line. If she made the first move, it’d be fine, but Curtis wouldn’t break the rules on his own. He took his role as group leader and the safety of Shannon and all the people in Dreamland seriously.

Shannon’s silence made Curtis look over at her. While she wouldn’t try to escape, she had frequently vented her frustrations. Her arms were folded as she glared at them.

“What’s going on? I’ve been here for months and months. I’ve gone through all the tests and interviews. I have no memories of any close encounters. I believe aliens are out there, but I don’t believe I’ve been taken onto any ships or that I’m in any danger. No nightmares, night terrors, implants, missing time. Nothing.” Her tone was calm and firm.

“You’re not in danger here,” Ross replied.

Milton sat next to Shannon. “We don’t have all of the answers, but we won’t let anyone hurt you.”

Curtis watched their peacemaker try to soothe the woman they all loved. One woman for a group of men was the Keelon way because they were a warring world genetically modified to breed males over females. There were plenty of ménage relationships around Dreamland that involved groups of alien men, but Shannon just believed there were more men than women so necessity had been the mother of invention.

Ross walked up to Curtis and nodded. “There’s a ship in orbit,” he said quietly. “We need to stay here and distract her somehow.”

“We can’t do that,” Curtis said.

“You don’t think it’s time to prove ourselves and be honest? She’s smart, and now, she’s grown too suspicious. Her patience is worn thin, and she needs proof.” Ross was the most logical minded.

The group counted on Ross for intelligence and seeing the big picture, and Curtis trusted him. Clearly, it was time to make a change and hope for the best. There was no doubt that all of the men wanted to move the relationship forward, but there would be no way to go back if it didn’t work.

“Fine,” Curtis said.

“Fine what?” Shannon asked. “I thought I could trust you four, and now, I’m not even allowed to be in the observation room? I’m just being held for no reason?”

She’d always known there was more out there. ET had been her favorite movie growing up. When she looked up at night, she always wanted to see something. Not just discover a comet or see a shooting star, but truly to explore. She’d hoped she’d get the opportunity to use the amazing equipment here to get an even better look.

“There are reasons, but we can’t give you all of the details.” Curtis sat next to her.

The four men moved around her, and she felt safe and warm. All the masculine bodies softened her need to argue. Wanting for more than protection from them had helped keep her cooperative. The hope of finding out aliens were real and here on earth was the rest of her motivation not to be a nuisance. Being brought to Area 51 wasn’t something one could request, but she’d ended up here and she wanted to explore and make the most of it. No university or research group had technology like Dreamland.

“What is the government going to do to me?” she asked.

“Nothing. You’re safe here.” Gavin put his hand on her shoulder.

The strong touch made her relax yet sparked her need for affection. These men had too much self control. “Then why am I here? I never discovered anything in the stars worthy of sequestering me. Trust me, I’ve looked at every photo I’ve ever taken, and there were no UFO or top secret planes.”

“True but alien abductions are up. You are here for your protection,” Curtis said.

“Is it really that dangerous for me?” she asked.

“You want to be abducted?” Ross shook his head. “It’s not pleasant.”

“You don’t have every woman in America locked up here. Besides, all aliens can’t be mean and cruel.” She shrugged.

Milton knelt at her feet. “But groups of people with superior technology and power will take advantage of the weaker ones. Human history has taught us that much. Ask the Native Americans. There are some passive alien races out there, but the Keelons aren’t one of them.”

“Who are the Keelons?” she asked.

“The race of aliens that have visited Earth the most in the past fifty years. The abduction rate from them is highest. Some of their ships crashed here decades back,” Ross explained.

“There are specimens? They’ve been examined?” The idea of seeing a real alien excited her.

Gavin nodded. “Actually some are still alive. The humans didn’t kill everyone. We lived.”

“You?” She laughed and pinched his arm. “You feel pretty human to me.”

In a flash, Gavin’s skin went from human to snake like and then back.

She turned and remembered she was surrounded. Surprise and intrigue mixed inside of her. “All of you?”

“Don’t panic. We’re on Earth’s side.” Curtis smiled.

“Side? Wait. What do you really look like?” She’d grown attached to them looking the way they did. So strong and sexy. She rubbed a hand over the snakeskin. “Are you snake people?”

Milton shook his head. “No, not snakes. Our skin can modify itself based on the environmental needs. That’s all.”

“So you’re humanoid. Work for the government. Why are you guarding me?” she asked.

“We’re protecting you from the aliens. The Keelons are a warring people who take what they want,” Gavin said.

“What would they want with me? Obviously, they know the stars better than I do.” She watched Gavin and Milton share a look.

“We can’t give you all the details. We’ve got our orders,” Curtis said.

While she wanted to push, she’d seen the military’s discipline and access restrictions for herself. Few people talked to her casually. If she couldn’t talk to the men about that, she had to change the subject.

~Excerpt~

Even when you wanted men to dominate you, they ruined everything!
Bridget Stanger slammed her apartment door and locked it behind her. Chain, deadbolt and doorknob were all secure. After three weeks of chatting online with a potential boyfriend who was a Dom, she’d caught him in a lie on their first time out.
Every time! She stalked to her bedroom and kicked off her pumps. Shrugging out of the casual green dress that showed her form but not too much for the dinner date, she cursed him under her breath. He was just another one who’d thought he could work her up to what he wanted.
The dungeons are only social, right! She wasn’t a virgin or new sub. At thirty-two, she knew what she wanted and had been very clear about her limits before they’d met. No reason to waste their time.
Some men were players, even in the BDSM community. Unfortunately, in the small New England college town where she taught, there wasn’t a huge pool of Doms from which to choose.
She carefully removed her nice lingerie and thigh-high stockings and put them away. Her fury wouldn’t cause her to snag the stuff she loved wearing!
Tugging on a terrycloth robe against the winter chill, she headed to her small desk nestled in her living room. Opening her laptop, she used an email address no one would match up with her and created a blog.
“I’m done! No more wasting time,” she said aloud to no one. Up for tenure this year, she had a paper to finish up for publication. The right Dom would encourage her and help her, but the wrong ones only infuriated her. Maybe there wasn’t someone for her. Maybe all the good ones were taken, and new Doms believed they could make the sub do anything. Amateurs!
Her fingers flew across the keys. It wasn’t the great English Literature she taught, but damn it, she was right. The title spoke for itself, but she reread every word. There was nothing worse than an English teacher with typos or bad grammar. Even though no one would ever know this blog came from her she wanted it to be insightful.
Masters Wanted!
Open post from an experienced submissive to the Doms of New England!
Are there no bedroom Doms left in the world? I don’t want the extremes. I don’t need to belong to a club. All I need is one man who has the patience, intelligence and creativity to make me his. Perhaps this is a single girl rant, but having found my niche sexually, it should be easier to link up with sexual Doms.
However, all I seem to get are those who want to test or exceed my hard limits. I don’t play or give in on those things. I safe word out and break off things immediately. There is no second chance with me. Only one Dom has ever caused me a small physical injury. I’m not a doormat. Maybe I’m just a bitchy sub? It no longer matters because I’m now mourning the life I envisioned as part of a Dom/sub couple. Equal in every way except sexually. My partner may not exist.
So I will share my thoughts here for those who might be interested. Some subs may benefit from my experience. The publicity of our subculture, thanks to books and internet sharing and other online outlets, could be a good thing. Finding others discreetly or finding a place to meet others in safety is a huge benefit for a newbie. That doesn’t mean one needs to belong to a dungeon or have orgy parties in their basement to be in the lifestyle. There are subs, like myself, who don’t want to be shared, paraded or caged. It’s perfectly acceptable and no more or less gratifying to be private about your Dom/sub play.
For the Masters, that title is an honor. A privilege earned by those who understand the experience and have the skills to lead the play properly. The limits are not yours to make, but yours to respect. Pushing a sub doesn’t mean breaking her hard lines under the lie of a lesson or punishment. That is a brutal break of trust! Please do not represent yourself as okay with certain limits and then demand to cross them. It makes us all look like sex crazed maniacs.
A true Master doesn’t need an audience or even a single prop to drive his sub to beg for more. He needs only words and will. Of course, I’m not speaking to the 24/7 lifers who take things to their own level. I can’t even comprehend that. Nor am I referring to the plenty of men who’d love to order women around generally. That isn’t being a sexual Dom. But maybe those men have invaded our ranks as society becomes more equal elsewhere?
Bedroom Doms, please don’t feel the need to show off in a dungeon or attempt any extreme play without a genuine desire on both sides. There are plenty of eager subs who want the intimacy of private play as much as you do!
The post wasn’t laid out as clearly as the thoughts in her head, but it made her point. She posted it then sent the link to her BDSM fetish group online. The support and friendships were wonderful, but she didn’t need to attend a house party or visit a club on kink night. She’d met people through the group and knew others shared her frustration!
Hopefully, her message would help her friends and fellow subs in the group understand their worth. The new ones especially were ready to do anything. She understood the feeling, wanting to please and give in. The hope of that deep connection and stunning release never went away. Unfortunately, she’d been around the block too many times to believe the romantic fantasy would fall into her lap just because she got on her knees.
Changing her focus, she checked her work email. There was no way to make her perfect Master appear in her life, but she could earn tenure and have job security. A PhD didn’t mean as much these days. She needed to publish another paper in the proper place and secure tenure. While she was popular with students and faculty, colleges were downsizing, as well. Her online skills helped there. She’d been the first in her department to suggest and volunteer for online classes. Some of the old dogs didn’t want to learn, but they already had tenure.
Her closest friend in the Literature Department, Colleen Sheppard, was quietly promoting Bridget’s name for tenure and helping her. As much as Bridget wanted to call Colleen and rant about the date, Bridget kept her kink off campus and it’d be hard to explain exactly what had been wrong with a veterinarian who made good money and looked great.
Minimizing the blog, she opened her latest paper. Much Ado About People was a critical piece on how Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing proved that perception and influence were powerful things. Bringing it forward to today, with instant information and rumors that could be pushed so hard they seemed true, no wonder people’s reputations meant nothing anymore. Anyone’s dirty laundry could be on display if someone dug for it. Celebrities were fodder for entertainment, much like public hangings once had been. Her piece pulled on her private life and felt highly personal even if it academically paralleled modern day to Shakespeare’s time. She loved her work and it was something she could control and succeed at all on her own.
Her career had to come first! Not that she’d ever give up working, even if the right Dom came into her life. She loved her career, the small college town and the routine she’d found. Since things hadn’t fallen into place romantically despite her best efforts, she needed to lock in the career that she loved.
One more round of editing on the paper, and she’d try to sleep. She had too much pent-up energy to relax now.

Jay Belfer watched his main competition from the corner of his eye. Robbie Sloan was fairly new to the Big D’s strip club. Sexy and friendly, Robbie made it easy to like him. The clients went wild for that cowboy charm. Jay worked hard not to get too close but kept an eye on the new meat. This was a job, and Jay had a lot invested in Big D’s.

Everyone knew the “D” stood for Dicks but the owner insisted it stood for her last name, D’Agostino. She loved well-hung men performing in her club, which was actually two strip clubs sharing one big building. One side for male patrons, the other for female.

The men’s half of the club featured all-the-way performances on stage. All the men—at least those working on the men’s side tonight—stripped down to nothing. On the other side of the building, another group of guys were doing the exact same thing for a screaming crowd of horny women. Jay never got tired of the rush of being on stage, no matter who he entertained.

In this crowd of gay men, he easily spotted the owner, Bev, watching Robbie shake his ass for the crowd. A professional stripper seven years now, Jay kept his eyes on the crowd and connected with the customers. He was still the top draw—for now.

The new guy, Robbie, was hard to resist and two years younger at twenty-five. He was tan with short brown hair and dark brown eyes. The guy came from a rodeo background so he was flexible and rugged, but rumors reported he had zero cash. Not unusual given the type of work he’d fallen into.

As the men’s pants came off, the crowd cheered. Jay gave them a little smile and saw a lot of regulars out there. Down to gauzy briefs that were pretty much see-through, he let the thrill of the crowd and exhibition turn him on. Jay insisted to himself that it wasn’t Robbie’s tight ass or slightly hairy chest getting his dick up. No way!

Bev generally demanded meticulous manscaping, but Robbie’s chest hair wasn’t overly thick and laid flat against his muscled form. She said it gave him added sex appeal and matched his wild western image. Jay glanced over and saw Robbie’s cock growing. Bev liked men to show it all on stage. It set their club apart. One side for women, one for men, but all of the men went nude and got turned on!

Having to show their erection on stage sent many newbie and wannabe strippers running for the hills. Most new guys thought it’d be easy money on their first day, but Bev was tough on her dancers. Performing took practice and work. The group of men turned and ripped off their briefs. Jay looked at Robbie and cursed himself. With his back to the crowd, Jay admiring other men didn’t matter for the show, but he was really getting turned on. This wasn’t just his usual showing-off hard on today.

Turning, they strutted their stuff and fanned out on the stage to display their full potential. The crowd went wild and after a few minutes, the strippers all headed back to the dressing room. Nudity never bothered Jay, and it didn’t last long. He’d done worse things for money.

Dressing for their next rounds, Jay didn’t have to rush. He was in the last group as a featured dancer. Robbie had moved around the lineup and was growing in popularity. Of course, tonight, he grabbed the chair next to Jay.

“Great crowd.” Robbie closed his jeans then tugged on a long-sleeved shirt.

“They’re good.” Jay noticed Robbie’s cock was still firm in the jeans.

His own member wasn’t relaxing as fast as it normally did. Damn attraction. He always wanted the wrong men! Robbie wasn’t a bad guy, at least not that Jay had found out, but he was the main competition.

Robbie layered a vest and a worn leather jacket atop his shirt. When he bent over to tug on his cowboy boots, Jay forced himself not to imagine Robbie blowing Jay’s cock there in a room full of mostly naked men. No other stripper had turned Jay on so much without even making a pass at him.

“You okay? You looked lost,” Robbie said.

“Fine. Just some stuff on my mind. On stage, I can blank it out, but I don’t go on for a while.”

“I’m up now. See you later.” Robbie smiled wide and dashed for the stage.

Bev liked the contrast of going all nude at first then having men layer on the costumes and show off their individual appeal. The first dance with all the men let customers check them out. Whatever tips came in were split equally from that. From now until the finale, it was one to three guys on the stage performing.

Jay refused to get up and watch Robbie from backstage, no matter how much his cock twitched. Luckily, another dancer came over and sat next to Jay. Any distraction was welcome and Ken had been around Big D’s a lot longer.

“Hot guy. He’s got a crush on you,” Ken teased.

“He’s got a story.” Jay didn’t like competition, but no one could be on top forever. He’d unseated Ken as the top dog a few years back. Ken was blond with dark brown eyes and a swimmer’s body that made women drool. But at forty, he was a veteran. Women and men still loved him, but he wasn’t the new flavor anymore. Jay felt the tug of knowing he wasn’t new, either. Hopefully, he’d handle losing the top spot someday as well as Ken had. He hadn’t iced out Jay, and Ken certainly hadn’t given up.

“We’ve all got a story. I heard his family is in rodeo. They found out he liked dick and tossed him.” Ken adjusted his tie. His tuxedo costume was perfect for him. Classy, sassy, and let him show off his dancing skills at a slower tempo without screaming that he was the older guy here.

“There are gay rodeo riders. Tons of them. I’ve dated a few.” Jay had heard so many sob stories from new strippers that he’d turned a little jaded. Maybe he wanted to find fault with Robbie as an excuse to deny the attraction.

“I guess his family had money, and it was all wrapped up in their show or whatever. So he was out with nothing. He’s hot and can move, though. Bev can pick them.” Ken looked at Jay in the mirror. “You’re really not interested?”

“No, I’m not taking a new guy in and making it easy on him. As soon as he gets his footing, he’d dump me for someone else. Those types always want a nice guy to save them and then run off with a bad boy who’ll hurt them. I’m not into rebound relationships or dealing with someone else’s drama.” Jay didn’t have to spell it out for Ken. Some of the men in the profession were complete users and anyone would do. “Of course, he’s good, Bev doesn’t hire crap dancers.”

Jay made it through his rough years because Bev and one of his Aunt’s up in Reno had looked out for him. Bev had no reason to help thus she had his eternal loyalty and respect. A former Vegas showgirl who’d gone topless on stage and did all sorts of things in hotel rooms, Bev understood the tricks of survival and strength. Now pushing sixty, she helped young men without judging and used her experience to put on a show she swore would run forever!

“Don’t get bitter. You’re not even thirty. Romantics.” Ken chuckled.

“I’ve been called a lot of things, but that isn’t one of them.” Jay listened for the music. Shit! He suddenly realized he’d been waiting for Robbie to hustle his nearly naked body back here.

“You are. Sure, you hook up with guys. Date. But the second a relationship goes south or something bad happens, you bail. You want the perfect Happy Ending. Maybe this Robbie is the one?” Ken brushed off his jacket.

Chuckling, Jay ignored a tug of need in his gut. He wanted more than sex, but that wasn’t the world he lived in. “He’s the competition not the boyfriend. You should worry about finding yourself a man to settle down with. You’re old enough to have fathered some of these guys.”

“If I ever screwed a girl, may rattlesnakes strike my dick. Why would I want to settle down?” Ken stood and headed to the stage as the announcer took over.

Jay smiled but didn’t believe for a second Ken liked being alone. Neither of them had ever been with a woman, but it didn’t change the fact that age happened to everyone. In the end, no one really wanted to be alone. He wanted to see Ken find the right guy. It’d give Jay hope. Just then, Robbie strutted back, his tight g-string filled with money. All Jay saw were Robbie’s firm buns.

~Excerpt~
Cameron Shea stared at the clock on his laptop. Another day of meetings with Lucky Springs Industrial’s new marketing guru, Zoe Avery, for him and the three other salesmen assigned locally. The Lucky Springs Industrial plant had expanded, and now, their little town was packed with factory workers. Zoe made the suddenly crowded town worth it. The higher ups really needed to add more women to the office.
Zoe was fairly new in town. She possessed brilliant marketing skills and seemed to love the ever-present male attention.
“You’re counting down to the meeting,” said Donovan Weber. Cam and Don had been a sales team and lovers for years and had grown up in Lucky Springs. They shared an office, a house, and throughout the years, various guest lovers.
“It’s a bizarre torture in a way. She’s hot as hell and loves marketing.” Cam loved Don and their shared interest in women. Don was a cute guy with brown hair and brown eyes who everyone liked instantly. Their relationship worked, but they’d included girls in their sexual relationship off and on. Occasionally, other men made the cut, too.
Now that Lucky Springs had a lot more men than women—thank you factory expansion—the bisexual men weren’t as bad off as the straight guys were. Still, this woman had a lot of attention, not just Don and Cam’s. Competition was fierce. Single women had their pick of groups, pairs or single men.
True, the men could just venture out to Baton Rouge or Shreveport, but those cities were hours away. If one wanted a woman in his life or bed regularly, Lucky Springs was still limited.
“Why don’t we just make a move on her?” Don suggested. Naturally, as salesmen, they had a bit of a competitive streak with other guys.
“Sounds good to us.” Owen Pratt leaned in the doorway with his sales partner and acknowledged boyfriend, Jarrett Falcon.
Owen and Jarrett had moved into the spare room in Cam and Don’s house a month ago when they scored their sales jobs. The town needed more apartments but having the other men around had turned out to be fun. The roommate thing helped as far as chores and saving money. Their compatibility was a plus. The guys weren’t unpleasant to look at, certainly. It was almost too comfortable.
Cam and Don had discussed their attraction to the other men. Owen was handsome, with brown hair and striking green eyes. Don loved to stare at Owen’s round ass.
Jar was blond with serene blue eyes that made him look innocent and sweet, rather like his Bible belt upbringing. So far, the quad hadn’t hooked up. The two couples had been tiptoeing around wanting each other and their mutual interest in the right woman.
“We don’t want to push her too fast. She’s only been in Lucky Springs a few months.” Jar shrugged.
“She dated around a bit before you two moved here. Zoe knows the game. We don’t want to lose out on the chance since we’ve got her captive in these meetings.” Don grinned.
“She’s not the settling down type. That’s the thing. From what I’ve heard, she’s not looking to be domestic. So let’s make it a no pressure thing until we see where it goes. Hot and seductive,” Cam said.
“All four of us? Or shall we see which duo she wants more? Pretend to fight over her a little?” Owen asked.
“I don’t think pretending is a good idea. She already thinks salesmen are full of shit. Working with as many as she has in her career, she’d see right through us. I’d rather be direct. Plus, her friend moved in with a quad of guys not long ago. We won’t freak her out. I think we’re stronger going in as a group. We all live together, so it’s less awkward and more convenient if we’re all in. Let’s see how it goes.” Don closed his laptop. “Meeting time.”
“Wait, so it’s open season. Orgy? We all screw each other, too?” Jar asked.
Attraction sparked as Cam patted Jar’s shoulder. “Afraid of all the men?”
Jar had grown up with extremely religious parents and, while his sales skills were formidable, he hesitated with personal stuff that would upset his family. Apparently, his lust for men was undeniable, and he’d made peace with one man. Cam found the allure of a pious rebel a serious turn on.
Owen chuckled. “You’re with one guy. What’s a couple more plus a girl?”
Cam knew Don wanted to play with Owen, but not everyone was as open as they were.
“If you’re good with it, so are we.” Don winked at Owen.
“I think we should keep this about Zoe. Especially at first. We can screw around at home all we want. If you guys are into it, great! We don’t mind sharing. The missing piece is the right woman. We can’t try to tie her down and lay claim like we’re cavemen. But she’s the main goal, not a side dish or this whole thing blows up.” Cam had nightmares of it backfiring. Lucky Springs was his hometown and news spread like lightning.
“If we didn’t need the right woman, we wouldn’t be hatching this plan. We’d be content with men, but we’re not. Let’s play the game she wants. Like playing golf or going to dinners to close a sales deal. It’s all about Zoe, so let’s keep it casual.” Jar shook his head. “I don’t know how to do that with sex.”
Owen smiled. “Don’t worry, just focus on her sexually. Get her off and don’t talk relationships. We’ll make the first move. Follow our lead.”
Cam nodded to Owen. “Sounds good. With any luck, we’ll keep her so happy she’ll want to stay with us.”
“Are we all sure we want her? Don’t get too attached to any ideas until we explore things.” Don grabbed his Smartphone and led the way down the hall.
“You’re right. It’s a lot of people to juggle and keep happy.” Owen checked his watch. “We’re late.”
The halls were busy, but the people seemed to part for Zoe as she walked toward the men. In a sexy skirt and heels, with a silky bronze blouse catching the light, she showed off her curves like a woman who knew exactly the sort of power she held over men. And she loved it.
Cam and Don had been studying her since she arrived. The new marketing campaign finally gave them up-close access to her without looking like horny animals on the prowl.
“Gentlemen, did I bore you so much yesterday that you’re boycotting me?” Zoe put her hands on her hips and lifted an eyebrow at them.
Her black hair was neatly angled along her chin while her hazel eyes hinted at mysterious thoughts. She wasn’t drop-dead gorgeous, but Cam preferred a real woman to fake perfection. Zoe was well put together and had confidence that made everyone take notice.
“No, we were just comparing notes,” Cam said.
Jar nodded. “Yeah, you covered a lot yesterday about the new branding and everything.”
“Well, get in that conference room for day two. We’re ordering in lunch, and I think I’ll have a surprise this afternoon.” She leaned in and gave them a big smile.
Cam inhaled her perfume and knew today was the day. She flirted with them. True, playful was her personality, but he’d caught her checking out the men yesterday. Today, it was time to get her naked on that conference table or get reported to HR. They needed to find out if she was interested.
